I've dreamed of breast implants for ten years...

I've dreamed of breast implants for ten years after a constant battle with low self-esteem. I always thought just going up a cup size would be enough but after constant research, I realized I really wanted something bigger. The problem was finding something that would fit my small frame. I researched for months about doctors in my area, issues the could appear post-op and the various odds and ends that go into augmentation. After a fantastic consultation with both Dr. Finkle and Kim that left me giddy with excitement and confidence, I went with 700 cc ultra high profile silicone implants, under the muscle. Even though I was scared about the possibility of going to big and having issues, Dr. Finkle and Kim both assured me the size I chose would work well with my frame. They really came through. I LOVE them. I'm only three and a half weeks post op, but the change in my self-image is astounding. It has totally affected every aspect of my life in the best possible way.

4 weeks post op Mondor's Cord

4 weeks post op and things just keep improving. They are dropping beautifully in my very enthusiastic opinion, although it's funny to watch my nipples go from uneven one day to completely even the next as the implants settle. I started using Mederma for the scars and I'll keep updating on how that goes.

Feedback from family and friends have all been positive so far. Even my grandmother, who swore my implants would be gigantic on me, thinks they look great. I'm not shy at all about letting my friends take a peek or a grope and more than one has been amazed by how great they look and how real they feel. My naturally large chested friends keep teasing me about how I've finally joined the dark side - I'm officially one of those women who immediately takes her bra off when she walks through the door after work! Haha. They've also been really supportive and I'm enjoying the random pieces of advice, from where to get the best large bras to ways to avoid the dreaded underboob sweat stains. I'm loving it!

The only 'set back' so far is the formation of a Mondor's Cord that I noticed today. I plan on calling my Doc in the morning to let him know and then keep an eye on it until it resolves. Warm compresses here I come!

Aaaaannnnd I forgot to add my stats: I'm 5'9 and 132lbs.

Do you have any recent photos/updates to share. I'm gearing up to be in full on research and consultation mode in a few weeks. I am on lincoln and will likely travel to omaha. I have breastfed 4 kiddos for one year each so theres quite a bit of damage...ha! I dont want to do this unless i can achieve the outcome i have in mind;)
