50 Year Old Female - Facelift, Brow Lift, Upper Eye Lids, Nose Job, Neck Liposuction, Breast Lift & Augmentation - Omaha, NE

I set out to make my outside appearance feel like my inside attitude. I would feel positive in the morning or during the day & then look in the mirror & feel like my reflection was of a much older person than I imagined myself being. Once I went to the complimentary evaluation & listened to the video tapes, I decided to also explore the concept of "facial harmony". This is the scientific mathematical relationship between one's features. In discussing this with Dr. Bruneteau, I decided to add the nose job to achieve more desirable facial harmony, & I am very happy with the results. I would not have performed this procedure had I not inquired with him as to what procedures he thought would help me achieve better facial harmony. I mention this because for me it was very important to ask numerous questions of the doctor to figure out which procedures would best address my situation.

Except for the nose job, the other procedures seem like "maintenance" procedures for the aging process. I could not be happier with the results of each and every one of them. The facelift is absolutely natural & not pulled at all. The brow lift is also natural & has the added benefit of opening up my eyes & making them appear larger & younger. The neck liposuction restores a youthful looking neck without being completely absent of fatty soft tissue.

I wanted a breast lift but had not considered augmentation at all. When I was younger I was not flat chested so I did not feel the need or desire to consider augmentation. And to be honest part of me did not like the idea of tying my self esteem to the size of my breasts so that is another reason I never considered it. However, Dr. Bruneteau described how in this situation we would be replacing breast tissue that has dissipated due to nursing children & the aging process. Also, he said the highest level of satisfaction is reported by his breast augmentation patients (as compared with patients undertaking other procedures). Taking his advice I added the augmentation to replace the fullness I had lost. This proved to be a fantastic suggestion & I am so pleased with the result. My breasts look much more full & I look younger because of the fullness. Since I only went up one cup size, it is really only noticeable when I am unclothed or in a bathing suit. But I guess I realize now I look better more because of the shape & fullness than strictly because of the size.

When picking the size of the implant I recommend picking a "net cc" amount for him to choose during surgery based on the amount of tissue he takes out during the lift. Apparently he has to take out some breast tissue when he puts in the implant (possibly for shaping purposes & to account for different sized breasts). He mentioned this to me in our consult, but I assumed it would be about 10 cc (in other words a negligible amount). In my situation, he took out 75cc from one breast & 85cc from the other so the effect of my adding a 275cc implant to each breast was reduced a little more than I anticipated. While I am extremely happy with my results, if I was giving someone advice it would be to recommend a net addition so during surgery he would have used 275cc + 75cc = 350cc in my case.

The recovery for this many procedures was just as he described. I thought mine might be faster because I had a positive attitude & exercise on a regular basis, but I do not think these things accelerated the recovery.

So, would I choose to do all of these procedures again, Absolutely!
Would I choose to do them with Dr. Bruneteau, Absolutely!

I feel fortunate to have achieved such wonderful results. I am grateful for the doctor's training, skill, & experience. It makes me wonder why so many celebrities end up with unattractive results - I guess they should come to Omaha for their plastic surgery instead of California!
