I received liposuction from my knees, thighs, hips, back and arms. Pleased with results except for my arms. For years I have been shy about wearing short sleeves and now I am just petrified. My arms now are now very uneven and ugly. Went back several times and they kept telling me to give it time and they will smooth out. That never happened. I wear sleeves at all times now and to even see my arms makes me cry. They would not fix without me paying all over again. I am currently saving my money to have it corrected.

I am so sorry you didn't get a great result :( I am considering having the same work done by the same surgeon. Would you be able to tell me how many incisions he used on each area and how big the incisions were? Is there any way you'd add pictures?

I'd have to take pictures as I only have before pics. Incisions are small. Arm area Incisions are very close to the elbow so it blends in with the elbow so no very noticeable. Other Incisions are in areas that aren't seen too much except for the knee area. Incisions are small so not too bad. I am happy with all the work except for the arms. They are very uneven and I regret it very much. I'm more disappointed because they seemed to not care about my arms and gave no me no resolution to correct it.

That is frustrating. During the consultation they make it sound like they would make sure you're happy with your results so that is good to know for me now going in.

Last question - how long did your incisions stay pink/red?

In my consultation I felt so confident that no matter what happened they would make sure I would love my results. I am pleased with all but arms. As soon as I started asking to have them fixed they took no responsibility for it and just kept saying I need to give everyone it more time. I had several follow up appointments but it was never resolved. It was about 3 months before there was no more swelling or relish look. The scars, even so little, do not tan. They are more noticeable. If your a summer person, you may want to have it done at the end of summer.
