I have been researching Breast implants for over a year. I have went to 3 Dr. offices. The first 2 weren't spectacular and my husband and I got a bad feeling in the second Drs Office. We met with Dr. Juan Brou this morning. Within 5 minutes of speaking with him we knew he was the surgeon! His demeanor is amazing! He listened to everything I asked and said. He gave his honest opinion on everything we talked about regarding my sports and hunting trips already booked. He is the guy to go and see. I do have slight asymmetry in my breast. I have one child and breast fed her for over 11 months. We decided on 330cc High Profile Smooth Sientra-- Surgery date is October 19th. I will do more research on size. I might want to go a step up since they get smaller after all of the dropping and fluffing. I don't want to be outrageously huge. I would like natural looking breast. We will achieve this! Anyone interested in Breast Implants definitely need to see Dr. Juan Brou. Anyone having thoughts about going up one size then what you planned to have piece of mind?

Hi, I was researching this morning about breast implants, & came across your review. I am 29yrs old (have had one child), a 34 A, & would like to go to a 34 C.. Kind of worried about the costs, like any hidden fee's. I was reading that Dr. Juan Brou costs anywhere $4,000 to around $5,000. Do you know if that includes everything total? Like, include the surgeon's fee, surgery center fee, anesthesia fee, and your bra to wear after surgery? I want to tell my husband about the prices, but don't want to go & then it end up being around $10,000! :/ Ya know? Haha. Anyways, I hope everything goes well for you! Thanks for your time.

I am 24 with one child! The total fee including his fee, surgery facility and anesthesiologist is $5200. The only thing that isn't included is the prescriptions. Which I don't think will be to much. He said he will send me home wrapped in a bandage and then fit me for a bra the following day at post op appointment. I felt amazingly comfortable with him and the staff. You should definitely go and see him! Let us know how it goes!

I went to Dr. Brou and he is amazing! You feel as if you are his only patient and concern. If you are concerned with feeling that this will be a little smaller in the long run, definitely bring that to his attention. You want to be pleased with over all results. After a year or so is it what I feel like were my true results. I think my whole cost was right at $5700, everything included so worth it!

I will definitely do that! I felt so comfortable with him. He is great! Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm already counting down the days! Do you have any tips on what you might need after surgery? I see some women using other products and didn't know if you had any recommendations.

You're so very welcome! I was so thankful I found him. A few tips I found useful was have a comfy recliner or a place to rest comfortable. I found it easier to sleep in a reclining position at first then gradually to lying down. Frozen peas! They are great for swelling and discomfort. Also wear you like a button up shirt or zip up home from surgery and maybe like the first week. You don't want to have to be raising your arms above your head right away. I think Dr. Brou has a scar gel also he offers in the office, I honestly didn't feel like I needed that cause the incision faded well and he did a wonderful job, put it right under the crease of my breasts. Stay on top of the pain too, don't be afraid to take your pain meds. Those were some helpful things for me and I believe you will find helpful :) I recommended him highly to anyone I talk to about it, I don't think you'll find anyone better

Can't decide on size..

Headingtoboobietown
I have my scheduled appointment on October 19th. My issue is size. I'm sure you ladies can agree with me on that. We don't want to go to big or to small. I am currently set on 385HP Silicone Round Smooth. But I am wanting a Full C or Small D. Each breast is different. One measures 15.5 and the other measures 16.0. Have any of you ladies been in the same boat as me?

I am in the same boat!! as of right now, i've decided on 280cc on the right and 300cc on the left ..My doctor suggested that because I just want a modest/conservative size that may not even be noticeable in some of my shirts (because i always wear padded bras).. but I look at other people my size who got similar sized implants and i think OMG thats way too big, theres no way those are ever going to feel like a part of me! .. but then i see other people who are my size who get similar sized and think theirs look perfect! its so stressful! right now I'm just trusting that the doctor knows best as to what will get me to my "wish boobs"

I agree. I have this bra that I wear and it looks almost the same size as when I had the sizers on. It's crazy stressful! I know my husband is probably tired of me obsessing over this site! What is your surgery date?

mine is october 13th!

Duh! I knew that. I had already read your story. Had a bit of mom brain. Have you started prepping for your surgery?

This amazing bra!

Headingtoboobietown
For some strange reason this bra is my favorite. I went to Academy today and got some sweat pants for $4.98 and some shirts that I can wear while recovering and then to work out in after. They were $2.98 to $4.98! Cant beat that price. I don't want to buy any bras till after surgery since Dr. Brou will fit me for a bra the day after! I don't want to waste any money! I think I am going to stick with 385cc HP Smooth Sientra.
