I was very nervous about having rhinoplasty. My fears were death and poor result. I wish I would have found Dr. Wayne and had the courage & money for this procedure years ago. The 1st week is tough because you can not breathe out of your nose. The pain really wasn't bad, but I took my pain pills as scheduled. I had some bruising under my eyes, It was gone in a week. I was back to my normal exercise routine in 4 weeks. I'm 7 months out and 80% to my final result. Scar is barely visible. I can breathe so much better now, which is a great added bonus.

Thank you for sharing! I'm so glad your breathing is better to boot. Were there any supplies you found especially helpful during recovery?

Q-tips, Saline Spray, and frozen peas. He supplied all but the peas! You will use tons of q-tips the 1st few weeks. You can't blow or wipe your nose so it's the only way to clean yourself up. Also make sure you have soft foods on hand (jello, soup). A good Chapstick (I get a great one from his office) your lips will chap from breathing out of your mouth.
