So Almost Done with All my Consultations.....

Wow where to start. OK. So far i have had 3 consultations. It is crazy how every doctor gives a different answer to all your questions! Anyways. The first (being the worst) was with Dr Joel Maier. To sum up my first consultation ill just say after leaving there he had me not wanting to get this surgery done EVER. It was like it was too early in the morning for him or something. I felt like because im young maybe he didnt take me seriously? He told me there was a 50/50 chance of losing nipple sensation! I was like omg.... He also TOLD ME what he would do. He did not ask me ever what i wanted. I AM THE PATIENT. I AM PAYING FOR THIS OUT OF POCKET. Asking me what i desire would of been a little nice instead of telling me what you are going to do and thats the way it is! He told me i would go from a DDD to a C. I was not happy with that and he said that was the trade off.... When i asked for photos he chuckled and said their online? on real self check out my website. Again i was blown away by his manner.

NEXT consultation was with Dr Heck in Columbus.
The only bad thing about him was that he is 2 hours away from me...
All the ladies there were extremly nice and beautiful.
As soon as Dr Heck came into the room he asked me what I WANTED. He explained everything to me in depth and did not half ass anything. He told me loosing nipple sensation was more like a 5% chance. He agreed with me on my wanted cup size. He really made me feel like i was in good hands and made me excited to get this done.

3rd Consultation was today with Dr Kurtis Martin from Cincinnati
Right off the bat he is more of the goofy laid back personalty.
I cant really say if i liked or disliked that.
At some points i felt he wasn't being very serious. He told me my breast weren't that big or that off in size from each other and they DEFINITELY are. He did not show us pictures of breast lifts/reductions that he has done. he went on the computer to 'show us stuff' but just showed us a models breast and said that he hadnt been trained on this yet so he shut it off....

IDK these consultations have been blah expect for dr heck
i have another monday with Dr jean loftus

I did pick Dr Heck for my surgery. I have scheduled for july 28th. i was shocked the first date i asked for was available! So now i have to get a pre op physical and some blood work which im not too excited about i hate getting my blood drawn! Fingers crossed that goes smoothly. My only complaint right now is his staff. I emailed them letting them i know i was going with dr heck and all she told me was the date and time i should be there and that i had to call and pay my 15% down payment to hold my surgery date. I asked about the hotel that they provide for people who are driving really far (im 2 hours away so a hotel is being provided) she told me the two hotels they go with but that was it. She didnt ask me which one i wanted or what days it would be provided for or how many people can come didnt tell me if someone was going to get in contact with me about it or anything. SO thats still up in the air. I know when i was there payment plans and cost were gone over briefly so im assuming that gets taking care of after surgery? Setting up payment plans? I feel like someone should be getting in contact with me about these things right? I shouldnt have to ask all of this in a email. Ive never had surgery before so i have no idea how all of this works

Getting closer to surgery day! Now im starting to worry about the aftermath. What are some miracle workers for preventing scars and fast heeling? Creams? Tape? Vitamins? Oils? Cost doesnt matter let me know!
