48 Yr Old - Asian Eyelid Revision with Ptosis Repair

WORTH IT$6,900
My eyes were looking tired and when I would smile they would look closed. I began by looking into Asian eyelid surgery and went to Beverly Hills in 2016. In 2016 I consulted with 2 surgeons and went with the more expensive famous young surgeon - mistake # 1. The 2nd mistake was that he does not do ptosis repair which he said I did not need. After a failed 2016 surgery, I looked to have revision done one year later in 2017. The original surgeon offered to do the surgery for very little money but said he would do the exact same surgery and that I still did not need ptosis repair. I did not like the idea of doing the same thing twice hoping for a different result. So I went around the corner and consulted with Dr. Charles Lee - thank goodness I did. This time I chose experience and expertise since Dr. Lee is able to do ptosis repair if needed. He did think that I needed some ptosis repair. The surgery experience was night and day from the first one. The first 2016 surgery - yes the office is beautiful and they are super great at emails/text/follow up - BUT the surgery itself was not as detailed as Dr. Lee's. Dr. Lee met with me pre-op and drew lines on my eyes, showed me with a mirror and then we headed right into surgery. I was under conscious sedation so I could hear everything but did not feel any pain. Coming out of surgery I was much more alert. I had very little bruising unlike the first surgery where I looked like I had been beat up. I am thrilled just 1 week out of surgery with the results so far - Please go see Dr. Lee!!

Amazing results only 1 week post op! In Oct. of 2016 I went to a different Beverly Hills Korean plastic surgeon for Asian eyelid surgery. This surgeon does not do ptosis repair. The results were awful. One eye did not take and the other eye was uneven and also barely showed a crease - mostly just saw the incision line. The 1st doctor was willing to do a revision but again said that I did not need ptosis repair, which he does not perform anyway. I went for a 2nd opinion with Dr. Charles Lee and I am so glad that I did. Dr. Lee's surgery was much more detailed and thorough than the first doctor and the results are very very different. I had very little bruising and the results are already significantly better even just 1 week post op. If you are looking for Asian eyelid surgery PLEASE go see Dr. Lee do NOT go to a surgeon that does not perform ptosis repair - you just may need it and it will make all the difference.
