So, I'm finally going to do it! After researching for 6 years and not being able to afford a surgery (due to being a single mom & raising my kids solely on my own), I felt it was time for me to spoil myself and get an augmentation. After my initial consult with a plastic surgeon, I found out that he required me to get a mastoplexy in addition to the implants. So I posted on this site and asked many doctors the same. To no avail, they agreed. That was disheartening to know that I was that "bad off." But at the same time, it was expected since I'm (in my opinion) severely asymmetrical. A few months ago, I went to the consult that I originally wanted with a surgeon that I heard so many wonderful things about. After seeing the results of a good friend of mine, I knew he was the doctor that I wanted. Now I'm two days away from going under for some new babies! I'm super nervous and scared, but the surgery is 100% paid for, so I'm not backing out! I was originally a 36 B growing up, I ended up being a 36DD during the breastfeeding period, ended up as a 36C afterwards and then I lost 35 lbs. So now I'm down to a deflated 34B. In a few days, I hope to be to a 34D with all the excess skin I have. Dr. Nijher has chose to go with high profile saline implants under the muscle. He chose the 420-460 range, so I will soon see what the result is!
