9 weeks pic --Sorry don't have a before photo yet...

Prior to week 9..
The day of surgery wasn't that bad. I was expecting some crazy pain, but whatever medicine i took right before surgery was excellent. I didn’t take not one pain killer at all during my recovery. I just took maximum strength Tylenol about 24 hours after surgery, just in case the medicine I took pre surgery wore off. I can honest say I took only about 4 pills during the first two weeks. (I am not a fan of pills)…
I would say the most difficult part of the recovery for me was sleeping. I don’t think I got good night rest until week 5/6. I am not a back sleeper.
9-weeks
i am still swollen mostly at night time. I read most of the swollen goes away about 12 -14 weeks. I may have to do my lipo flanks or exercise...( let's see who wins that battle..lol). I still wear my binder during the days and when i work-out.
my scar treatment is coming along great. I wear the silicone treatment and bio oil. For being dark skin my scar looks amazing. Dark skin people tend to have thicker scars... So far you can hardly tell...(bonus)....

It's Been 28 Years ......

I was reviewing breast transfer procedures on real self. Dr. Shorrt had comment on a previous post. I checked out his profile/website and decided to go for a consultation. I was glad that he actually conducted the consultation. I've been to one where the Dr.'s assistant did the initial one. He was very easy to talk , to express your concerns. He was very knowledge. Some doctors are in rush to explain things. "You don't get a second chance to make a first impression" . I felt very comfortable right away. I knew I wanted him to be my surgeon.

I was reviewing breast transfer procedures on real self. Dr. Shortt had comment on a previous post. I was looking for lipo to the stomach and fat transfer to the breast. I checked out his profile/website and decided to go for a consultation. I was glad that he actually conducted the consultation. I've been to one where the Dr.'s assistant did the initial one. He was very easy to talk ,I was to express your concerns with comfort. Even though i was hoping for Lipo/breast transfer. He advised that Tummy Tuck would be a better result for your stomach than Lipo. ( i had lots of excess skin and muscle damage due to pregnancy -2 kids and poor diet.) He was very knowledge. Explained to me the reasons and difference between the two surgeries (lipo/tummy tuck) , showing me visuals so you can see possible out come. Some doctors are in rush to explain things, especially when the consultation is no charge. "You don't get a second chance to make a first impression" . I felt very comfortable right away. I knew I wanted him to be my surgeon. My decision was to go with the Tummy Tuck -drain less ( no transfer to breast, due to financial reason, even though i still have breast envy..lol) I think having a flat stomach was the better option, Which i have seen in 28 YEARS ..
