3 year update :-)

Quick update!
It’s been just over 3 years now since I had the surgery. It was the best decision I’ve made and I’m living my best life everyday with my new hair!

10 month update!

Been receiving some requests to see how the healing has been going so far. Everything has been wonderful!
I have full sensation on my scalp probably only 4-5 months after the surgery. The scar I would say is fully healed. It is no longer red or pink. It is a much less visible white scar, it's very thin too and does a nice job blending into the hairline. That said, it is still very close to then hairline.
I think the scar is only visible if you call it out and look close under harsh living.look under ha

4 month update!

Hey folks!
A long overdue update is in order. Checking in to say everything is going marvelous and in short, the surgery was worth every penny!
1st month: Entire scalp numb, felt really weird to wash or touch. I was very gentle styling and didn't get a haircut for a month. Scar was red as to be expected, no visible shedding. Being patient and taking things easy. Didn't workout for 2 weeks.
2nd month: Got a haircut, my usual barber was completely fascinated and in love with the new look lol. More aggressive healing, got an occasion hair pimple along the incision line. Scalp would occasional itch at night, meaning nerves were coming back. Began tropical treatments for the scar. Used Mederma. About 20% feeling back on scalp.
3rd month: more comfortable styling hair. I have noticed the biggest change for me hasn't been the hair density, seems pretty close to before. But oddly enough it has changed the way my hair natural rest. So before it was straight and now it is wavy. Haha, not a big deal, I can straighten it with a come and product but that's the biggest change. Hair still thick, no shedding.
4th month: Scar is making some great improvements, the red is starting to fade away. Using Apple cidar vinegar every night to apply to the scar and it's really working. Scalp has about 80% feeling back. No shedding and having fun trying out new hairstyles. I still wear my hair down to conceal scar and keep it out of the sunlight. It's easy to be patient now because I'm in love with the results.
