My first consultation with a plastic surgeon left me with more questions than answers. My second and last consultation changed me forever. During my second consultation I met with Jenna and then Dr. Schlesinger. I had talked with Jenna at length about my first experience and how I had more questions than answers. Jenna took the time to patiently answer all of my questions and to educate me on the process from beginning to end. She was very knowledgeable, forth coming, caring, and helpful. Later that day I met with Dr. Schlesinger and was blown away by his magnetic personality, wealth of knowledge, his love and passion for what he does, and his belief in always doing what is morally and ethically right by his patients. He is one of the most humble plastic surgeons I have ever met. His accolades and achievements supersede all other plastic surgeons on the island and yet I feel that at times he has no idea how he changes the lives of those around him. It is impossible to meet him and not be changed by him. We talked at length about why I wanted to have plastic surgery and what my expectations were. He educated me on what he could and would do for me and why certain things were necessary such as the drains. He explained to me what to expect at visits and how we would be seeing quite a bit of one another during the process. He also assured me that if something didn’t look right on me he would not do it and if at any point during the process something was to go wrong that he would fix it at no additional cost to me. There is no other plastic surgeon on the island that guarantees their work at no additional cost. After my meeting with him I knew that he was the one and the only one I could trust to do my surgery.

On March 24, 2014 Dr. Schlesinger performed a Benelli Mastopexy and augmentation on me at the Surgery Center. Dr. Schlesinger was the breath of life for me on that day and what he did for me goes far beyond what words will ever be able to convey on paper. My breasts look amazing, I am happy, and now I smile more than ever before. He gave me the quality of life that I had so desperately needed and wanted for so very long. My friends and family have even noticed that I have a glow around me since my surgery. I am now the person I should be.
