I have struggled all my life with weight problems....
I have struggled all my life with weight problems. So there wasn't a day that went by without me getting up in the morning and agonizing with the day and the weight!! I thought about a tummy tuck for years.
Well, I finally decided that I was going to do it. So I started the hunt for what I thought would be the best surgeon I could find in my area. I set up three different consultations. The first one was a joke, and the second one wasn't much better. Both said that I was too overweight to have the procedure done. Well, how depressing. If you aren't over weight why on earth would you get a tummy tuck anyway? So, three times is definitely a charm: Dr. Schlesinger. Not only could he do the surgery for me, he had a whole plan for me. (I have to mention this, never once did he mention about me being overweight and making me feel ashamed or uncomfortable.) For that alone I will be always thankful. But that was just the beginning. On my initial consultation he told me he could get me into a bikini, I just kind of smiled, I didn't care if I got into a bikini or not. I have a huge roll of fat around my stomach
that I wanted removed, and thought that in itself would be a great improvement.
So, we started with a tummy tuck, along with that he did a lower body lift. Both procedures went wonderfully. Of course I could see an immediate difference. I was out of work for one week and was pretty comfortable going back. Mind you, I followed the Doctors directions for me to the word from beginning to end.
Included in the price of these two procedures was liposuction. The results from the tummy tuck were so amazing that I was completely happy to stop there. But since the lipo suction was included I was scheduled to have that done three months later. And I did. Procedure was a little more difficult for me afterwards, but well worth the results. I am right now 5 weeks past the liposuction and feeling pretty darn good, but looking very good. After the liposuction I was directed to have ultrasound therapy, this is to help the smoothness of skin. Again, part of the process. I am glad that I followed through with all that the good Doctor told me. Some people will not and then they don't get the best of what is offered. Guess what, I can wear a bikini!! Dr. Schlesinger plan for me was a huge success. I never dreamed that I could look like this. He has exceeded my expectations in every way. The procedures are a process and to get the results that I received you have to follow the process.
Dr. Schlesinger and his entire staff is amazing, in all ways, passionate, compassionate,helpful, skillful,truthfully I can never say enough good about them. Dr. Schlesinger has changed my life!! Many thanks.

The interaction alway seemed very personal. I never felt like he didn't have enough time for me. If I called about anything he would call me right back. When I needed to go for my appointment he went out of his way (and I think a lot of times off his regular schedule) to see me. I never met another Doctor like that before. There was never a minuter throughout this whole process that I felt alone. This is 5 months since I had the first surgery. I have had my last appointment with the Doctor, and quite frankly its bitter sweet. Funny, but I never experienced anything such as this. It all has been nothing but good.
