Relief :) Even Though I'm Only 4days PO with Drains Still In...- New York, NY
From my initial consultation to post op everything...
From my initial consultation to post op everything has been worth every bead of sweat. When I got pregnant 12 years ago I thought I would be one of those supermodel moms since I was only 118lbs and healthy but that was not the case. I went up to 188lbs then leveled off at 170lbs even though I was still healthy I surely didn't feel it. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I had already lost 10lbs from changing my lifestyle and I decided to do the Spartan Race which by the way was AWESOME!! Anyways back to why.. My husband took my picture after I crossed the finish line and guess what. I had six boobs!!! That was it, I finally had enough! I called Dr. Yager's office and set up my surgery date. I am 17 days post op from lipo of my arms, inner thighs and full back and only 4 days post op from a full TT. Surgery is not something to be taken lightly. You need to do your research so that you can better prepare yourself mentally. Trust me when I say you would rather be overly prepared than under prepared. This community is a great chance to talk to people who are going through or went through the same emotions and things you are going through. Remember you are not alone in this. Also remember it takes time to see the results so don't stress yourself over it. Take your time to heal. Enjoy the time off of your feet.

Actually my PS recommended that I have the lipo first then the TT. I'm actually glad I had it done 2 weeks apart because of the locations I had lipo I was super sore. In actuality the lipo hurt way more than the TT but 2 weeks was more than enough time to heal and I was able to better prepare myself for the TT. I can't wait for the end result. :) I get my drain removed this Thursday..
Have you taken the jump yet? :)
