I had done one year’s worth of research, including interviewing a half a dozen docs. I found one of the best resources that helped me narrow down my choices was the honest feedback, the reviews and the Q&A I read on Real Self. It helped expand my knowledge base of both procedures and professionals. It’s how I found Dr. George Yang. I was amazed at how much time and effort he put into answering people’s questions. The depth of his experience and knowledge was obvious.
I am 10 days post op and I look and feel great. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of surgeon and the procedures we decided on together. I live outside of NYC so there was an additional investment of travel and lodging but it was worth every penny. In fact, I will return for my other cosmetic maintenance procedures as well.

Thanks for the info. Glad you're so pleased! I wish I could go to him after reading your great review, but it's a bit far for me to travel. That's the exact surgery I need. Question: did you need to stay overnight?

Hi Sandy, I ended up staying nine days. I arrived the day before the procedure, had another consult. And then there are check ups on day one, three and eight I believe. Because it's not a "procedure" but surgery I think you really have to be there for the post op check ups. Not to mention having the comfort level of having the doctor so close by during the early days.

Thanks. I am so happy that you had such a great experience with this (and the results)---there are many horror stories on here. I hope mine turns out as well as yours. I've been doing research here on Real Self. I think I have it narrowed down to two surgeons from here..

I just read someone who I think paid about 6k from the same doctor. am I remembering wrong? I wonder why the big difference in price.
