Dr. Kassir is definitely talented and naturally...

Dr. Kassir is definitely talented and naturally blessed with an artistic eye. He has the ability to recreate your nose, without losing your individuality. It's truly amazing the work he does in the sense that he is able to create a better version of your nose, and create a new “mold” based on the original one, there isn't a "one size fits all" mentality in his work. To me a doctor who has the ability to change something on your face to improve it WITHOUT changing the way you look (making you unrecognizable) takes more skill than a doctor who can just put a small nose on any face. It's been a little over a month now, so I'm still pretty early on in the healing stage, but so far I must say I'm extremely pleased with the results. They are so subtle and natural (yet greatly improved) that those who I haven't told I've gotten a rhinoplasty done, don't even pick up on the fact that I have (which is exactly what I had asked for). In addition to Dr. Kassir’s natural talent, he is also extremely charming and compassionate. From the first visit, Dr. Kassir had the ability to make both me and my mother feel extremely comfortable, something that isn't easy to achieve for any mother, especially mine. After my first and only consultation, it felt right and I decided to go with Dr. Kassir and book my rhinoplasty procedure. Something to note, getting my nose done was something I had been contemplating for a few years. It was something I wanted, but at the same time I was very iffy about because my nose wasn’t that bad. Everyone who knew I wanted to get my nose done, couldn’t really understand why, but it was something I wanted for myself. While I did want it, I was also extremely nervous that I would end up with a nose worse than what I had started with. I did research upon research, I would find a top NYC/Beverly Hills surgeon and like their work, until I came across one that I didn’t like, many times due to the fact that they changed the patient’s face far more than I had particularly desired, and I would automatically eliminate them from my list of potential doctors. Keeping my ethnic look was important to me because I happen to come from a Greek background and my culture and ethnicity is something we tend to celebrate and take pride in. When I finally came across Dr. Kassir’s work, I was impressed by his work, and this time, all of it. I showed my best friend, who happens to be even pickier than I am, and she agreed he seemed to be the one. He had the style that I desired, which was natural, yet improved, along with the credentials, which is even more important. I booked my consultation with him, and what made him stand out to me was that he never pushed anything on me during the consultation. In fact, he even told me that even if I don’t ever go through with getting a rhinoplasty done, I was beautiful and I’d be just fine. I recently had a situation where I was hit in my nose while I was sleeping by my boyfriend. I called up the office and they recommended I come in to see the doctor to ensure that no damage was done. I happened to go with my mother and grandmother, and Dr. Kassir went out of his way to come over to meet and greet my grandmother. He had a whole conversation with her, and of course, my grandmother loved him by the end of the conversation as well. Dr. Kassir is not only talented, but seems to be a genuine person as well, which seems hard to find in this area of specialty.
In addition, just a few words of advice, time heals all. When people say recovering after a rhinoplasty takes time, they truly mean it. Taking your cast off isn't always an incredible feeling as you are bruised and extremely swollen, so it may actually be a bit of a shock or feeling of initial disappointment, but with time, you will see how much your nose continues to heal and change for the better. I'm in week 6 right now, and compared to weeks 1,2,3 and so on, my nose keeps looking better and better. So when, or if, you feel like panicking, don't freak out, especially when you you were in great hands. Just be patient.
