I had no down time with Ulthura. Yes it feels like little rubber band snaps, 6 at a time, under the skin and they did a criss cross pattern and then up the side of check towards the cross feet area. He explained it to me as taking an old worn t-shirt washing it and then throwing it in the dryer where it shrinks into a tight t-shirt again, and that is what our skin does with this treatment and that is what I noticed my skin tightened up on side of face and shrunk my joules and got more of a neck lift which I didn't even think I needed though looks great. If you're going to get it done go to Kornstein, he writes articles on this stuff, he does research on this and I have good experience with him. I know they say dermatologists can do this and lots of other people can do this though Kornstein guides his staff on exactly how deep to go with lasers, what pattern to move in on the face and how a combination of treatments gets the best results. My joules did not go away to me being a 16 yrs old though my skin tightend and lifted thus reducing the joules pure and simple. Also have him look at putting some fat in your brow perhaps its like a natural eye lift with no surgery He's not cheap and he doesn't always tell me what I want to hear though combining non evasive procedures I like. If you need to build collegan do Ulthura, Exillis tightens the skin though you want some fat or collegan to tighten the skin over it. Hope this helps.
