Always had trouble with the love handles. I guess it genetic. I figured why not be more efficient and try coolsculpting in conjunction with diet and exercise. The procedure was not real uncomfortable to a little bit of pins and needles sensation but goes numb after 2 minutes. I had upper and lower abs and both flanks done. I will post a more thorough review after the 8 week mark

I modeled for years in NYC and worked out regularly. Thankfully with good genetics, not smoking and eating healthy foods, I stayed relatively thin and at 61 still don't need Botox! But "mother nature" wasn't so kind in the gravity department. I did put on some weight after getting married 14 years ago and once again thankful that much of it went to the "right places". Gravity sent the rest of it down to my tummy and "love handle" area. So I tried Ultrashape with a very reputable dermatology group - so did my husband. This was like six years ago. We can both tell you that COOLSCULPTING does NOT do a damn thing! Nothing!! What a waste of money. I can also tell you Ultrashape & Ultrashape Deluxe doesn't work either. Please save your time & money and go another route. New procedures are on the market and getting good results. As far as I'm concerned, Cool Sculpting was the BIGGEST ripoff!

5 weeks post op

It's been 5 weeks and I have not really seen any results. There is no point in posting a photo because there is no difference. I'm not sure if this was worth the $4,200. I've been maintaining a very strict diet (Mike Dolce living lean cookbook). During my consultation the surgeon did try to up sell me on going the lipo route stating that he could remove 100 percent of the fat in one session. I just did not want to go through any surgeries. I have an appointment April 26th for my 8 week follow up. Not sure what's going to happen in the next 3 weeks

I would definitely not recommend cool sculpting since it had no effect on me. Especially since it cost me 4 grand at coolspa nyc. I have nothing against the staff there they were all very professional but I think this technologically just like anything else needs to be fine tuned over time. I’m thankful that I did have any horrible side effects or scarring. I will definitely go the lipo route since that is guaranteed to remove 100 percent fat instead of cool sculpting which states up to 20 percent which in my case was 0.

Hi - From the photos you posted, I can see that you are a handsome young man and, in my opinion and I'm sure others as well, that you don't need fat removal in that area. You look really good. I had lipo in that same area. The result was not good.
Uneveness, small lumps - scar tissue - under the skin. Some hard, others soft and
rubber like. I was told by another surgeon later that the first guy was too aggressive and removed too much fat. You have to leave a thin layer of fat to cover the scar tissue that normally forms. At that time I was and am now still in shape with a midsection similar to yours. And now years later, it looks worse than had I done nothing. Fortunately, body hair covers it somewhat. If you decide to do it ( and I hope you don't - ask several people close to you what they think) you should talk to several different doctors first. Since the area has already been traumatized, you want to find out if another procedure will cause a problem. I would pick a different doctor. As I found out, the friendliness factor doesn't mean a good result will follow afterward. Peace out, David

Hi, thank you so much for your comments. I'm sorry you did not see the results you were hoping for. CoolSculpting is, indeed, FDA cleared to remove an average of 20-25% of fat in the treatment area per treatment. It is not, however, guaranteed to work for everyone. We have done over 10,000 cycles at our practice, and the vast majority of people have been very happy. The only way we can guarantee fat reduction is with a surgical approach like liposuction, where we can typically remove about 75% of the fat in the treatment area.

We are all our own worst critics, I know this well personally, but honestly I think you look not just great, but super hot. I wouldn’t advise you to change a thing about your body, as it appears in the pics.

hi. thanks for the kind words. I actually just did some light lipo on the Lower stomach and flanks. I’ll post pics when I’m better healed
Can't wait to see your final results! Did you try any other procedures (other than diet and exercise) before trying CoolSculpting?
