WORTH IT
Still liking the results. Being 46 I knew this wouldn't be a procedure that would lift me, but it did make an improvement and has left me less self conscious!

How much was the procedure if you don't mind me asking? You look great!

You look great!! I'm having my neck done in 2 weeks under local. I'm so nervous about being awake.
I'm thinking of having lipo done at another time on many of the body parts you had done. How is your recovery with that lipo? Do you still have swelling and bruising? Are you happy with your results?
I had a consultation for lipo to my abd, thighs, back etc. and each body part was between 3,500-5000!!
I am very unhappy with the lipo on my thighs. I need a revision and it will be very complicated. Too much taken in one are and not enough in another on the same inner thigh. I look deformed even in gym clothes! It is horrible. My flanks still do not look right but my plastic surgeon claimed he didn't know what THAT was. That being the back fat that is still there. I have to wait 6 mo this before revision so I am praying the flanks will go down. Honestly I would avoid lipo to the body. I've never seen good lipo on abs so definitely give it some real thought. I am very happy with my neck though!
I'm sorry to hear that. I was hoping for the best for you. Maybe after the swelling continues to subside things will even out. I hope this is the case. It horrible that you have to have a second surgery. That's scary that the doctor didn't know what the flanks were. I would spend the extra money and consult with another PS about your revision. It will be costly but if you do a lot of homework you should be able to find someone especially in NY. When selecting a doctor Check for complaints against them, malpractice, reviews on the internet. You may actually find a good doctor on this web site. I would go to ask a question and post your situation so a doctor can reply. Good luck. I'll be checking up on you. :)
Thanks camb123. I'm letting him try to fix the issue on the inner thigh and flanks in a few months. This will be in office and will be for free. If this doesn't help, I will do as I suggest. Trust me, if money wasn't an issue than u would def go to someone with more experience!

I'm thinking of getting smart lipo on my chin/neck area. Was this using standard or smartlipo?
I think it was called vases. My dr said it was lipo that also tightens at the same time. He used that because I'm 46 and was trying to avoid droopy skin

Ok I think you mean vaser. Yes I have seen positive results with vaser as well. I found a local doctor who uses vaser but he didn't have any before/after pictures. I am very skeptical of doctors who have been practicing for years and do not have any before/after pictures.
Yes, me too! I had mine done in clinic so there weren't any pics for me either. I took a chance because cost was so low. Worked out great for neck but terrible for thighs!
Yes your neck is one of the best neck lipos I've seen considering no neck lift or chin implant was used. Very impressive difference! Smartlipo uses laser instead of ultrasound. What do u think of that?
Thanks! I had the beginnings of a turkey neck but I didn't have rolls, so it really does depend on what the before is. I don't think skin can rebound from skin that has stretched much more than mine did. I only wore the chin strap for 4 days too! I thought that was so strange. Figured I would need to wear it for weeks but my dr said nope.
It was a bundle package so I don't know how much it was individually. Done in a clinic by a fellow so price was much much cheaper. My guess is about $1000

I am 46 years old and hate my loose neck skin. After seeing my plastic surgeon he suggested a neck lift/facelift. Since I was not ready for either of those, we agreed on lipo to see how that would work. I was told I would have improvement but the real fix would be a lift. I am pleasantly surprised at the improvement! I am one month post op and still swollen so I al looking forward to when another mo th will bring. Although I can't say for sure that I am 100% pleased yet because I'm not fully healed, I can say that I like what I see so far!

Oh WOW!! You look FANTASTIC!!! This procedure seems to have worked wonders for you after one month...and I think the results will only better with time. You look far younger than 46!!! I'm so happy for you!!! :)
Ha! I've cut off my eyes and that is where all my wrinkles show! I will definately do something about those, just not ready yet as in still recovering from my other surgery. I had the chin lipo at the same time as a tummy tuck, thigh, flanks and knee lipo! I'm still sore . . . And a lik broke. Ha ha ha. Good luck to you and your hubby! Can't wait to see your after pics!

You look great!! Maybe that's what I need too- just a under chin/ jawline lipo instead of a neck lift. I only have minor double chin so this might work for me too. Did you take the whole week off from work?
I had taken off since I had other lipo and TT done as well. It was a very simple recovery for the neck. I had surgery on Wed and had to wear a neck/head band until Sunday and that was it. I did bruise around my neck but turtlenecks and/or makeup work wonders.

You look amazing so far!  Please keep us posted on the rest of your healing and if you decide you need a lift or if you are happy with just the lipo.

I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair, lipo on flanks, outer thighs, in back of things, inner thighs, knees and lipo in neck. I went to a clinic where an attending and fellow perform the surgery NYC. It's a teaching hospital but a very esteemed one so all the Dr's Come from very impressive schools. My dr had already been performing cosmetic surgery for 10 years so I was good with it. Everything combined was $5000 for the surgery, hospital fee and anesthesia
