A bit of a worry
Today I have noticed my left breast seems a little more full and a little harder than the right one, also I don't know if it looks a little bit bigger, seeing my surgeon on the 14th November, maybe I should wait and see how it is then?

Hi everyone, so two months down the line I am still happy with my breasts. I have taken some pictures of different bras I have tried on. Quite a few of them are bra's I had prior to the explant and when I had just had my implants in. (Yeah I know I kept them for ages)! So I got a professional measure and I am a staggering 36D to 36DD! Many of the bra's I bought when I first had my implants soon stopped fitting me due to the problems I had with the implants hardening and contracting so its handy I kept them because once I stop wearing the sports bras (next month!) I can start wearing them again. I took some pictures of my scars which on camera look quite red but I want to assure you they are not sore or painful in any way. Seeing Mr Collis next month for a review so a nice trip down south again.
Feeling so much better in myself, sleeping better, actually slept on my stomach the other night which was great. I've started going to the gym to get a bit of weight off, its good how improving one area of your life seems to make you want to improve others.
Well best get going got a Sunday roast to cook for hungry men.Catch you all later, take care
Tx

Hi how much was your operation, did the doctor give you an inclination of how your breast may look after removal.
Many thanks
Many thanks
The operation was £1400 done under local. The surgeon actually spent time and made It clear that he had no control over the overall look of the breast especially as I wasn't having a lift or anything, just removal. To be honest I despised those implants so much I couldn't have cared if I was totally flat chested, it has been confusing to find out I still have a bust and a larger bust than pre implants but then I am older and a bit heavier so its probably what would have happened anyway.....which is ironic :) Tx
Isn't it wonderful to be without them! Mine are much smaller but I'm still happy to have those monsters out of my body. Yours look great! So happy for you.
Thank you so much, I am so happy to firstly find this site that has helped me so much and obviously thank full that having been given that support by the Real Self members I took the plunge, really happy :)

1st Measure
Well it seems very odd and I did mention this before that far from having flat breasts after my explant I seem to be around the same size. I went to get measured last Wednesday and the girl told me I was a D to DD cup! I was not expecting this as my sports bra's are C's but sure enough when I defied her and asked to try on some C cup bra's they were too small.
Having had some time to consider this I realise why the overall size is the same, my implants were too high on my chest so their bulk really sat outside the bra material whilst my own breast was within the cup.
I have mixed feelings about this, mystified how I got bigger, but I put that down to getting generally bigger in size as ive got older. Happy that I have some bust as I really worried I would look like a sock with a stone in the bottom of it and a tiny bit sad I wont get into the smaller, neater looking bras.
Generally though I am still happy at my decision and I'm sure I will find some bra's that I like the look of, haven't really started having a good look around yet as me and the sports bras are with each other until November.
Seeing Mr Collis in November for my check up. i've had no problems with my opp. Scars are healing nicely and I am using oil on them twice a day and yeah as I say I have a real bust, bonus bonus bonus!
So happy, best wishes to all those considering this operation, keep reading peoples stories and watching the wonderful outcomes. It really does change your life and is well worth it. T :)

I have just read through your story and thank you so much for posting. I love your light-hearted approach and attitude. I'm very happy for you -- you look SO much better without implants! I was wondering if your surgeon left the capsules in. I don't think I saw that detail in your review. It also seems you didn't have drains, correct?
Hi SuperMorn4, yes he left the capsules in and drains, as far as I understand are only used for more intrusive surgery so if you get the capsules out or have a breast lift you may have to have drains. Tx
Great results x
Thank you.
Your results are fabulous... Can I ask were you in any kind of compression after explant to prevent seroma?
Sorry for the late reply, I am wearing a sports bra and was advised to do that for the first 3 months day and night.
