It's not that bad, the scariest part for me was the anesthesia but the nurses at The Dearborn Surgery Center are awesome. I was crying and shaking and the nurses were so comforting. I don't remember falling asleep. I had a tummytuck with lipo on my flanks and lateral chest which is my back. The doctor told my husband he took a liter of fat off each side. I'm not in any real pain as long as I take my pain meds and move around it doesn't hurt. I even drove my so to school this morning, I waited until I got back home to take the pain medication. If you really want it go for it. Just make sure you go to a board certified plastic surgeon. If you have any questions just ask.

Yes, that hurted the worst.

I guess this is what they call swell hell, but I don't think I'm swollen too bad. Look at the last picture I posted it's from today. Stay excited it's so worth it, just follow what the doctor says. This site is helpful but I would've over done it renting a hospital bed and buying a toilet seat riser and a lot of the other stuff some of the people on this site purchased.

I stopped taking my percocet, which is the pain pill 3 days post op. I took the Valium, which is a muscle relaxer this past Friday when I went to the movies and couldn't stop laughing so it could relax my stomach muscles. 2 weeks off should be plenty of time especially if you have a desk job.
