Starting to move around a little more!
$16,000
1 Week post-op and I am feeling a lot better each day. The only thing I'm regretting is that I didn't go a little bigger implants in my breast. I am happy with the way I look, but I may consider going slightly bigger next year for my 51st birthday, but we'll see? Maybe I need to let everything settle and then make a decision like that. I go to the PS Saturday so she can hopefully, take these DREADFUL drains out, and make sure everything is healing the way it should be. I am so happy that I did this and I would reccommend this to any woman who longs to have their bodies back and feel beautiful again. I can't wait to start working out and really tightening up everything and buying sexy clothes. This was just what I needed to get my 50th birthday off to a FIERCE start! I hope to soon find out how to post pics, but I don't know? Anyway, I'll post again Saturday after the PS appointment to let you all know the outcome: To drain or not to drain...That is the question???

Well, I go back to the PS tomorrow to see if she will remove the last drainage tube? I want it removed so bad, but it is still draining more that I would like to, so I don't think she will remove it? I'll have to wait until tomorrow. I still would say it is so worth it! I only wish I could upload my pics; before and after to share with you all how HAPPY I am! I keep looking at my body in the mirror, as I can't believe this is my body? I'll post tomorrow to let you know if the drain was removed.
Thanks for following me!

Surgery complete and I am not part of the flat side club!
Surgery was yesterday, and according to my Dr., it went amazingly well! She was very pleased with the results thus far. It is painful, but not unmanageable, if you take your pain meds regularly. I don't do well with most narcotics, and a nurse at the surgery center I went to in Dearborn, Michigan, reccommended a medication called Tordo (I think that the name of it?) Nonetheless, it works wonders and doesn't leave you feeling nauseated. I will take the pain any day over nausea. The Dearborn Surgery Center was a WONDERFUL experience! The staff was totally attentative, and let me rest a lot more that a hospital would have, I would highly reccommend that surgery center if you are in the Dearborn, Michigan area. I am also taking Diazipan, and Keflex. Honestly, it's not as bad as I thought it would be? But I have a fairly high tolerance of pain. I will do exactly what the Dr. says to do, especially drinking lots of water, and eating lots of protein, such as eggs, chicken, turkey an fish. I am going to really make this investment in this makerover work for me, so I can have the best body I've been longing for, for such a long time. I'm still trying to figure out how to upload pics, but hopefully, some one will be able to walk me through this process, as I am anxious to share my before and after pics and progress. This is first day post-op, and I'm just a little groggy, but Im posting, so I would say I am well on my way to a speedy recovery!
I will post again Sunday,

Can you confirm the name of the drug you received after anesthesia, is it Tordo?

Yes! It was WONDERFUL!! It doesn't give you that nauseated feeling, and it makes you comfortable. I also took Diazepam (Valium) to help relax the muscles, and that was just enough. At first the Dr. would not write me a prescription for the Tordo, but when I had gotten home, I received a phone call from the Dr's office stating that she would write the script. It totally shocked me, but I think the nurses told her how the other meds were making me nausea, and almost not wanting to get out of bed and move. So it was like I was moving backwards versus forward. I filled the script, but I had already started taking the Tyelnol 3 which has codeine in it, and that doesn't make me nausea either. I currently am feeling pretty good, and I've been up quite a bit today. My son and his girlfriend came up to see me and spend the weekend with me. It was good to see them. Each day continues to get better and better, and I'm not as sore as I was yesterday. I can't wait to see myself with out the bandages. I will take pictures, and hopefully figure out how to upload them. I am feeling great, as long as I manage the pain as directed. I would reccommed the Tordo to anyone who has this surgery. I hope this helps, and I want to thank everyone for their support and word of encouragement.
I love the FLAT SIDE already!
