Protest Injury -Broken Nose

I was shot in the face with a rubber bullet while protesting in LA. I was fortunate enough that Dr. Desai was the plastic surgeon on call. While I was at the ER, some of the nurses called my case "gruesome." Dr. Desai reset my nose so beautifully you couldn't tell it was broken. It's only been 2 weeks but I've healed beautifully already and now I'm being consulted through scar massage. Throughout this traumatic ordeal, Dr. Desai was not only thorough and deft but kind and reassuring.
