Coming up on one year since surgery, so I thought I’d share some photos.
Breasts have healed very well, and the shape Dr Galiano created is beautiful! I now wear a 34F or 34FF. One breast is one cup size larger than the other, which does bother me.
Living and breathing and working out has all become so much easier! I feel and look lighter! I still have back and neck problems, but am grateful to have rid myself of that ever-present bra strap pain, bra strap acne, and constant sweat and yeast growth under my breasts!
I do wish we had gone smaller. I had dreams of buying bras from Target and Victoria Secret, and I now realize that anything over DDD is treated as “specialized/huge”. My breasts are a different shape than before, so my old go-to brands don’t seem to fit as well. I’d also love to wear wireless bras now, since I don’t require the wrangling of an underwire, but wireless F cup bras are hard to find. So I am struggling to find bras that are right for me now, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out eventually.
My liposuction has made a big difference in my frame, but was not as successful as I’d hoped. I am going to go in for revisions at the end of this year, as well as a tummy tuck, which Dr G has offered to do on the house since we should have gone that route to begin with. Not looking forward to experiencing that pain again, but if I don’t do it, I feel like the first time will have been for naught.

You look great ! How many grams were removed may I ask ? I am on the books for 4/24/17. I am 67 yrs old had 2 knees replaced and foot fusion. Lost 75 lbs down from 220 to 147. 5'2.75". Breasts down to my waist. 527 grams on left 525 on r that was when I was at 185lb. The bsa and schnur scale need recalculating. I am having lateral chest wall lipo. Did you have to lose any weight ? I was huge and needed to be. close to goal weight ( 140). Have back spasms to deal with. You look fab !! Thanks for your post.

3 Months Reduction Results
It's been 3 months to the day since my surgery. It really is life changing! I'm so pleased. Although, I barely remember what it was like before! I feel so comfortable in my body now without all that extra weight and tissue. Working out is easier, dressing simpler, standing and walking...everything feels better! I went for a walk on an unusually warm spring day wearing my seamless bra and a breezy tank blouse and said to my fiancé "I feel like I'm floating away! I feel so light and carefree!" Concerns at this point are with my scars -- they're thick and red in some areas. Applying Scaraway silicone gel daily but may switch back to silicone tape. Also slightly disappointed that I am still so large! I am measuring UK 34G. I think they look proportional to my body, which is all that matters, but I did dream that I'd finally be able to buy bras from *regular* stores. Sigh.
