After getting sick a few years ago, I noticed my face had lost weight. My temples had dips and had lost volume in my cheeks making me look sickly. Having worked in a cosmetic dermatologist office, I decided to visit a experienced plastic surgeon to discuss my options. I'm so glad I saw Dr. Holden. After a great consultation, he recommended Restylane Lyft to my cheeks and temples. I'm happy to say my confidence is back and I recommend Dr. Holden and anyone looking to get a lift discuss Restylane with their physician.

Did he use a needle or cannula to inject? I'm also curious what entry point he used or if he did multiple injections. I'm looking into this procedure and you look great. Want to find a very experienced injector.

He just injected. I think because he added volume to my eye area, the skin is too thin for a cannula. He did multiple injections and worked from one side to the next to ensure evenness. I think I might need a little more but only because I had zero volume in my temple area. It's so worth it! I feel less self conscience. Hope this helps.

Went back to get some Restylane under the eyes. Again, amazing and so natural. I've got nothing but compliments on how much healthier my face looks after I had fallen ill. Best facial plastic surgeon in Scottsdale.

Hi there!! Thank you for sharing your story. I am considering Restylane Lyft in the next few weeks, but I am still SO nervous. I am getting a very conservative amount, but am extremely nervous that it will be obvious and that I will be extremely swollen upon returning to work within a few days. Can you share your experience with me as far as how you felt looked the first 48 hours as far as swelling/bruising.

Hi! I'm so excited for you if you do go through with the procedure. I will say it's super important to go to a provider specializing in faces versus working on face and body. That's my preference. I bruised very little. I found that to be surprising because I'm anemic. I had mild swelling but no one could even tell I had done anything. My doctor gave me an ice pack right after which helped. Arnica gel helps with bruising if you bruise easily. I went and did errands right after. If injected correctly, you won't be able to tell anything other than you will look rested and healthy. Keep me posted!

PS. Don't be nervous! It doesn't hurt. I felt a little discomfort that evening but the pain went away the very next day. That after picture I posted, was the night of the procedure. You can see I look semi normal. (wink)

Thank you so much for the info & piece of mind. I'm going to a physician who I've seen for Dysport, but I know fillers can bring about various side effects. My appointment is Saturday and I haven't taken any Advil and just started taking Arnica pills. Just scared to return to work being puffy and swollen two days later. Thank you again, much appreciated.

Hi there!!! Just wanted to let you know that I went through with it and so far so good. No swelling or bruising (yet). I only got 1 syringe of restylane lyft in both cheeks so the result is extremely subtle, but that's fine with me. I am considering getting my eyes done to eliminate my dark circles. I see you did that as well. How much did you get? Thanks again for reassuring me ;)
