Day 4

Hello All! Today is a beautiful day in Asheville and I took my first little cab ride to a cafe and Whole-foods and just sat for a bit over a coffee and smoothie. It didn't take long before I was feeling quite tired again but was great to have a change of scenery and feel part of the world again! I'm definitely feeling more peaceful than yesterday and almost in no pain, just the odd stinging feeling around the incisions. I'm taking about one Tylenol every 6 hours or so. I woke in a bit of pain at 4am but just took another Tylenol and went back to sleep. Something I forgot to mention was it's hard to talk and smile which is unusual for me LOL! I'm usually quite an animated person and tend to naturally smile and nod my head a lot when I interact with people so I had to really moderate myself when chatting with people today. :) I hope all you October ladies are healing well and resting up.

Day 3

Hi All, today my face is a bit of a puff ball so I'll do lots of icing and keep my head elevated. I only needed one Tylenol before bed then woke with a bit of pain so took another at 4am. Now just a bit of discomfort but totally manageable and the icing really helps too.

Done! :)

Thank you all for your kind words, prayers and best wishes! It means so much especially being here on my own, a long way from home! Much gratitude! I had the procedure done yesterday morning and bandages off this morning. Still quite groggy from all the pain meds and a little stiff but not in pain. Pain was bad when I first got home (to the airbnb) much worse than I expected but once Molena gave me the strong painkillers I was comfortable and able to sleep well.

At this stage I have only spoken with Juanita over the phone. She seems really lovely and has been very helpful and responsive to my questions so far.
