A little bit about me: I'm 26 years old and 5ft tall, 150lbs. Mother of two smalls girls and done having kids so I know this is the right time for me. I've wanted this since I was about 15 years old. Granted I still have some baby weight in my stomach to tone up but not that much. I started developing in about 5th/6th grade, always being the biggest of all the girls in my grade. I was always thin till I had my first daughter almost 3 years ago. I graduated high school wearing a size 2/4 and wearing a DDDD cup already. Despite pregnancies and weight gain/loss they just grow and grow.
I met with a plastic surgeon who I ADORE! they set a date and we are starting the process with the insurance company today, which I know is going to be a battle but I'm up for it. My insurance company obviously wants letters from my drs.
My question comes here now, my primary dr is my infectious disease dr (for my lyme disease) and as much as I love him he gets very busy (you wait 3-4 hours to see him but hes worth it.) I spoke with his office today and they want me to type a letter as if its coming from him and give it to them and they'll just put his letter head and signature on it.
What should I write? I know basically what to add but having a hard time wording it all together for the insurance company.
Sorry to be so long, thanks in advance

Let your PS know what the Dr's office Is requesting and see if they could help you compose a letter or see of the PS will send over a letter letting the Dr's office know that the reduction is medically necessary. That's what my PS did. Good luck with everything

Well spoke to all my drs and getting all the letters and things prepared to send to the insurance company. I'm patiently waiting for right now until it's sent and and I hear an answer.
I added some pics to see how I compare to you girls and also my bra=amazing
It's the Keira bra by goddess. As much as I hate big breasts this bra is amazing

you need to emphasise the physical problems, back and neck pain, rashes underneath, shoulder grooves, difficulties exercising. if possible find out what the insurance company criteria are for a BR. Make sure you are not underestimating your size, a lot of women do, you look like a G cup to me. you are have ptosis, drooping and heaviness, which will only get worse as you age. weight loss will not reduce your breast size.

update on dr's notes and everything else

allisonmarie315
So I have 3 dr's notes plus my files from my chiropractor I've been seeing on and off for 10 years. I also have a back and neck MRI showing that everything in my back and neck is ok and due to my chest size. I meet with my surgeon Wednesday to go over things and hopefully by then all my papers will be in to the insurance company and we'll get an answer at some point. My date is july 3rd and I don't even know if ill get an approval by then.
My dr is out of network so they'd cover 80% if its approved the drs office said sometimes they'll write off the 20% balance which is great for me. My dilemma is that they want payment upfront and my mother said she would put the money out but she's having seconds thoughts about doing that now.
My question is if I do get it approved can I use that approval with a different dr? Or would I have to go through the entire thing again?
If I use a in network dr its covered 100%

and to the lady who mentioned my size I'm defiantly an I cup. J is too big and I fall out of anything else (including G)
