I'm writing this review during day 1 of my...

I'm writing this review during day 1 of my recovery process & although my nose is stuffy and there is swelling and headaches I still know that this is the best decision I have ever made.

My story is very similar to many on this site who decided to get a rhinoplasty procedure. Was teased as a kid, very insecure about my side profile, but I also grew up with breathing problems because of how small my nose was and how outwarldy the bump on the bridge of my nose protruded. I wanted a nose job since I was like 12 years old and at 24 I finally got it.

My surgeon was such a solid choice for me. After a year of consultations with around 80 different doctors, I felt that my doctor has the most experience in rhinoplasty alone to be able to give me the best outcome. Out of the 80 doctors, he was one of two to tell me that he wasn't going to perform an osteotemy (break my nasal bones) d/t the fact that I already had a very narrow nasal passageway and it would restrict my breathing even more (which is a huge reason as to why I wanted to get my nose done). When I went into see this doctor I felt from the get go that he had the most experience AS A RHINOPLASTY SURGEON and was extremely passionate about noses of all types. On top of that he has written numerous medical textbooks on rhinoplasty and had several binders filled with thousand of before and after pictures that showed the work that he did.

A lot of the doctors I went to see talked about how they have done "numerous rhinoplasty procedures" but when I asked for a direct number it was usually in the hundreds or they were hesitant to say. *this is a red flag** especially because the nose is the center of your face and is what can balance you face or totally screw it up. For a surgery this important it is so very nessecary to find someone who has a ton of experience doing noses. My doctor has done over 7 thousand procedures and primary rhinoplasty is his favorite to do!

What really showed me he cares was what happened just before I decided to write this review. During post op they tell you that there will be oozing and drainage starting hours after your procedure once the local anastesia wears off (which there was) and in the middle of my sleep I felt some fluid coming out of my nose so I woke up. There was a lot of drainage (probably because I had turbinectomies done as well to help with my breathing) and I was freaking out because I mean.. Idk I just was. I called the office at 1:30 am to be directed to dr. Daniel himself who took the time to listen to my "issues" and then reassured me that everything we perfectly and that everything I am experiencing is perfectly normal. Seriously this gave me so much comfort and my appreciation toward his skill and professionalism as a world renown rhinoplasty specialist led me to write this review. I'm not one to ever write reviews but Dr Rollin K. Daniel definitely deserves all the praise he gets. And for those who complain about his bedside manner, lol honestly he's not rude. And if he comes off a little rude, is it worth is to throw his expertise aside because you didn't feel coddled? Just some food for thought..

Anyways, before & after pictures coming soon as soon as I get this splint taken off! Thank you again Dr. Daniel for being the best!!

First off, his consultations are free. so that immediately told me that he was either really good, or really bad. But after meeting with him for my initial consultation, I could see that this man really knew his stuff. A really good friend of mine also went to him for a consultation and we both decided that he was the best choice for both of us when it came to rhinoplasty. She had her surgery about 2 weeks before mine so when I saw her result after she got her cast off I couldn't be more excited to get mine done. I had my procedure done earlier today. Went into the surgical center around 6:45, got prepped and ready to go by around 7:30, then Dr. Daniel came out to talk to me and my dad one last time before the surgery to go over exactly what he was going to do and make markings on my face I think as reference points. The anastesiaologist came around 8 to pump in that General anastesia, and as I was being wheeled into the OR I knocked out. Next ting I remember is the nurse waking me up and taking off my oxygen mask to tell me that all went well! I chilled in the post op room for about half an hour and when I kept telling them I was "chillin" they called my dad over and let me go home. Dr. Daniels is the best of the best. I feel that I can make that judgement because of the number of doctors I visited before and after seeing Dr. Daniel and how confident I felt in his capabilities.
