I was born with very droopy eyes. My entire life I always had people asking me " whats wrong? " Why are you sad?" when I put eyeliner on it would smudge all over and the fat packets above my eyelids even FELT heavy. The droopy eyelids caused shadowing around my eyes and i had to use TONS of concealer all of the time. I would get done up and after all my clothes and make up and hair , my eyes still made me look sad and tired. I was so frustrated.
I finally made the decision to get surgery at age 35. Enough is enough I thought. I booked with Dr. Weiss , whom I was referred to by a family friend and everything went so smooth and perfect I have ZERO complaints about anything. The procedure itself felt like there was alot of pressure on my eyes (I was awake under a local) absolutely no pain , just a super weird and kinda scary pressure. I did alot of deep breathing and made it through with out any pain. My mom picked me up , and lead me to the car as I could not see very well , everything was fuzzy, and my face felt heavy and strange. I had ice packs on my eyes and went home to moms house and laid down with the ice packs .
I took the prescribed pain meds and vitamin c and slept and chilled out for about 3 days. There was never any pain. I looked like I was beat up and had blue and yellow bruising on my face . It took a good week or so for the bruising to get lighter. I stayed at moms for 5 days and then went home and kept sunglasses on in front of the boyfriend. We went out to dinner once with sunglasses and i was able to do my normal house work. Every day I looked better and better.
Now my eyes do not droop , there is no fat pads hanging down ontop of my eyelid and when I look in the mirror I have no complaints about my eyes. Friends and family say they hardly notice , which to me is a sign of a GREAT surgeon. As no one wants to look different or pulled back in any way. I notice the difference BIGTIME , I think my boyfriend does to but is polite and doesn’t want to say so. lol.
I would recommend DR Weiss for this procedure, eyes are delicate and seem to be tricky so I would only go for an EXPERIENCED Dr on this one. No fancy young surgeons out of school with a hip trendy office. I would only trust someone with 20 years experience

Oculoplastic Surgeon, Board Certified in Ophthalmology
360 San Miguel Dr., Newport Beach, California
. Dr Weiss and his staff were great. They made me feel comfortable yet were professional enough to gain my trust. You can tell they all know what they are doing. I would not have had this surgery with anyone else as I know his experience makes him one of the best. I was completely confidant and him and his staff made me feel safe and secure. We listened to my favorite music during the procedure and everyone was attentive and accommodating. If you are in Newport Beach def come to DR Weiss
