Discouraging splits in both breasts... any advice?

WORTH IT$13,000
Right breast split is increasing and now the left breast which was almost healed is splitting again. Any advice besides stay in touch with PS (I am). Do I forget the compression bra? Try to give the breasts an hour's break from any bra a couple times a day? Or use compression bands? Not sure what helps or if I'm doing something to compound the problem. Using Bacatracin and non-stick pads with no tape.

8 wks R breast opens at bottom "T"

My left breast wound is almost closed but a few days ago, the top skin layer of the right breast started to split. It's not deep like the left breast was. In fact, the wounds look almost identical. They seem to be healing though (granulated). I struggled with wearing the compression bra 24-7 because it irritated my scars but perhaps my breasts needed the support. I'm now using compression bands at night to "mix up" the pressure points. Keeping Bacatracin on the wounds which helps. This journey is one of trial and error. Wondering if it's ok to use Vit E oil now on the other places or should I wait until the entire wound is closed.

Hi all, Hang in there. I am 12 weeks post op. week 6-12 was a whole new ball game of itchiness and healing. Heavy on the itchy! The swelling would come and go daily and there were days I thought I made a big mistake. They look and feel much better now. I was slathering up with anti-itch cream and it helps temporarily - but for long. One thing that did make it worse was swimming in a slat water pool. I would suggest staying away from that. Also- if anyone has "head light" issues now (like me), I found these great silicone pasties. http://www.amazon.com/Nippies-Skin-Reusable-Silicone-ADHESIVE/dp/B001PU9A9Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=undefined&sr=8-1&keywords=nippies

My thunderous breasts caused me constant neck and back pain. With boobs hanging down to my stomach, none of my clothes fit correctly. I looked obscene in a swimsuit and felt like an old lady. After surgery I went from a 36 DDD to a 36 B. I love my little boobs! I look ten pounds lighter. Recovery is a bear, though. (Icing really helps.) Still worth it! Went smaller than I first thought and am glad I did. Didn't want to go through all this and still be big. Beware of applying Embrace too soon (applied two wks post-op).I got an infection that set me back. Except for that, a great experience.

What is Embrace? I am 6 weeks post, and haven't put anything on my boobs. Nice to know all is well
It's silicone sheeting they say you can put on after 2 weeks. My incision looked healed over but apparently there was fluid underneath. Within hours of applying, I felt warmth. The next day it was itchy. The incision seems to be softening. I looked online for info about it what it should look like and couldn't find anything. It was the weekend. I sent photos to my doctor on Monday who had me come in immediately. She removed the Embrace but by then I had an infection at the site. Had complications with antibiotics, etc. Took a couple weeks to get through. Just grateful I'm doing well now. I have a lot of skin sensitivity so won't try the Embrace now. I was excited to try it. Embrace reduces scaring significantly by taking tension off the incision. For most people it seems to work well. Not me.
Yes, I have read that any brand silicone sheeting can trap moisture on scar and liquify the skin cells causing infection or allergy. So I decided when the time comes not to use silicone sheet, but use virgin coconut oil to soften scars once healed.
Looking good.
