Ive been so happy to find realself.com to learn, and share about what I will be going through in a few weeks. Im 42 (43 in Jan), 5'6", 121lbs. I do not have children, but have gone through significant weight changes in my lifetime. With that, comes the "deflated boobs". I do not hate my breasts,,,but I've never loved them either. Ive always admired a beautiful set of breasts, and look forward to having a pair myself. The thing I'm most excited about, is being able to wear low cut dresses with confidence. Im hoping to share my entire journey here.

Your transformation looks AMAZING! I had implants placed 3 years ago and hate how saggy they've made them. I hope I can have a lift and have results as close as possible to yours!!

Im having my lift with 500cc silicone implants, one week from tomorrow. Im so nervous, excited, and scared all at the same time. Im 42 years old. 5'6" tall. Im 122 lbs. No kids. No intention of having children. Ive been at my current weight for about 7 years. Prior to that,,,I had some serious weight fluctuations. Because of that, I have, what I call, deflated balloon boobs, or DBB. Ive ALWAYS wanted firm, round, perky breasts that look amazing. My boobs are a 34D now,,,but its ALL skin that just flops around in my bra. Its hard for me to find a bra, or bathing suit that my skin doesnt just spill out of because of my DBB. I hope this week goes by fast. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning.

Hi. Sorry Im just answering this!! I just saw it. Ive been at a steady weight for about 7 years now. But before that,,,I would fluctuate up and down,,,,,I finally lost 75 lbs, and kept my weight at what its at now. Oh,,,the stretch marks are a good sign of my weight fluctuations. I have some decent stretch marks on my hips and breasts. Im almost 4 weeks past my surgery now. Very happy! :)

What aaa your size of breast before surgery? Just curious because even with the size of implant they put in, your breast look like a great size not tooooo big.

My doctor talked 400-450 then day of op he said he had ordered 500s. That freaked me a bit. I didn't want to look big. He ended up putting in the 400s. I hope they will be big enough when the swelling goes down. Cause I love the size now.

Hi!!! Its weird,,,cuz I'm 520CC silicone,,,,and I don't think I look that big. I think it all depends on the persons frame too. Im glad you are happy! :)

Yes I think the 500 would have been ok after all. But if everything heals well I will be happy with that.

Hey! I'm getting 500cc implants next week and I'm hoping that it will look as good as yours. I think our before pictures look similar. What size were you before the surgery?

Hi mommycofield!!! I was around a 34D before surgery. My boobs just spilled out of any bra, though. They were all skin. Hope your surgery went well!! I will check your profile!!! :)

I know you just commented on my profile, lol, but I've been stalking your page for a while. Any advice on boob droppage? I'm super impatient but I just want round boobies!

The breasts can take up to 6 months to drop. I know thats not what you want to hear,,,but sadly,,,its true. They drop at different rates most of the time. Occasionally, an implant wont drop. The PS might have to go into to manually drop it. That would happen at the 5, or 6 month mark for most doctors. Also,,,your boobs are going to completely change the way they look over the next several months. My boobs don't look anything like day 1. Its OK to be impatient,,,but your boobs will go through lots of changes to keep you occupied. Its a fun journey. :)

You had a revision right? Or a correction?
User Avatar
July 16, 2017
I had a revision. He had to "release the muscle" and manually drop the implant. A little over two weeks ago. I woke up from the surgery,,,and my left boob was all fixed. Im very happy.
User Avatar
July 16, 2017
Ah, yes! Did the same PS do your revision and did he charge you for it? I'm glad its all fixed. Why can't they just manually drop my boobies from the get go? lol that's just me being impatient and silly. I was at the pool today and I was sad because I wanted to show off my boobies but...not yet! You mention wearing a strap. Was it really that bad? I don't have a strap but I am supposed to massage them. I hate the massages. It makes me feel like I'm going to pop the implant or squeeze it out my incision or something. It makes me feel weird.

Dr. Taneja did my original surgery, and he did my revision. I adore him. No,,he did not charge me. The reason why they don't have your breasts dropped to begin with, is because (one of the reasons) the breast lift with implants is technically two separate surgeries. Lots of surgeons will only do it as two surgeries. You go get your lift,,,,then wait 6 months...then get your implants. When you do both at once,,,its like two different procedures at the same time. If your implants were down in the pocket, all that weight would be on the incisions......and that would be very, very bad for recovery, and scars. They place implants high up (most doctors,,,with some implants),,,so that they come down slowly, thus giving your lift incisions some time to heal. :) Thats my understanding. Im no doctor,,,but thats how it was explained to me. :) Its not silly to be impatient. Girl,,,its normal. I could barely wait to get my revision to fix my implant. He made me wait until after 5 months. He wanted to see if it would drop on its own. Im on the same page with you with not being able to show off my boobs (yes,,,I have a little bit before my revision,,,,,just a little),,,I'm in my surgical bra for another month. I cant swim...and I have to stay in my bra. Thank God I don't have the strap anyone. Its TRUE torture. It was horrible,,,and I don't wish it on anyone. Some doctors believe in massage,,,some don't. My doctor does not. Im glad I didnt massage because it seems painful. I don't blame you for not liking it. :( It will get better. My boobs are super squishy, and soft on their own. Once your boobs start to get soft,,,the massage will be easier. :) Let me know if you have any other questions!!!! :)
