2 Month Update Post TT
WORTH IT$9,500
Some things I am dealing with now that I am sort of back to normal.
Travel is exhausting & lifting my suitcase into overhead bin a bit of challenge
My lower abdomen is still numb
Incision is completely healed
Sorta still afraid to wax
The swell hell in evening is still a thing
I still get a minor bit of fluid build up and am going in to have it drained - it's been 3 weeks since I last had to do it
I did run a little on the tread mill but I think that is what caused my fluid to happen - felt like same night
I am going to start weight training again because I feel like Im all squishy arms back and legs
Not working out for the last 2 months feels yuck
I miss running & I miss dancing - I hope I can get back to both by January
Abs still hurt like crazy when I sneeze
I still feel like this surgery was the most awesome gift to myself and I am super happy w what I see when I look in the mirror!

Slight WaterBed Seroma Belly
Drains came out a little over a week ago. I have gone back to work & work travel. But I definitely had been collecting fluid so had to go in and get it drained. I see my Dr every week so it wasn't super complicated. He removed about 20cc of fluid. It took just a minute or so and I only felt a slight pinch at one point. Otherwise totally numb. He and the nurse technician were super sweet about it knowing I was nervous and had made the mistake of watching the procedure on YouTube. I just looked away and it was over fast. I am cleared to go in a pool if I wanted. I did walk moderate speed for 35 min on a treadmill yesterday and it felt good. So better each week. Still swollen and tight by end of day. I still prefer to sleep propped up. Sleeping on my side occasionally but it's not super comfortable. Not working out makes me feel like I am losing lean body mass and putting on weight. Trying to be patient. Though as long as I can get my lower abdomen to heal I can finally imagine being back to normal activities in 4 months or so. Which, means progress.

Sorry to hear about the seroma, but glad to hear it's nothing serious and that it's getting better! You look amazing!

You look incredible after only 5 weeks! In a few weeks your belly will be flatter than an ironing board!

You look really good, I'm feeling some type of way not going to gym or even moving as much and the whole muscle mass loss, ugh.
I'll be 4 weeks post op on Wednesday, hoping this week I'll feel better cause today was a sore day.
Take care doll x

4 Weeks Post Op Scar Update
I've never really talked about my incision specifics mainly because the front took long to fully close and it looked icky so I just kept it covered and hoped it would heal. Plus it is so far into my bikini line and girls...let us all agree....hair removal Post TT is a challenge. Prepare for TMI but I am seriously missing a good wax. Summer. Hot. Ugh. I took a cpl pics post shower tonight while it was uncovered. You can see the front small vertical incision is almost closed. It was super yuck and exposed for the first 3 weeks. I had 2 small openings last week beneath it where sutures were working their way out. Its weird how the incision line improves then suddenly takes a turn for the worse etc. But I guess it's just another part of this recovery journey I didn't quite prepare for. Things seem pretty ok tonight tho.

Everything looks really good and your bb is perfection! Speaking of hair removal, yesssss the struggle is real, I had all 3 of my drains right there, making it even more challenging @_@
So that whole spitting sutures scares me, so far nothing is happening with me, hopefully it stays that way.
Glad all is sealed and look great, happy continued healing :)

Yes! My drains were in for 3 weeks and right there in my bikini line leg crease. What a pain. The suture thing doesn't hurt just freaked me out and def slowed healing. Im glad u r doing well. The cherries looked delicious btw, I'm on a mission to get some today.

3 weeks is n eternity, mine were ready to come out 2 days later but because I was in so much pain and doc was 30 min away, I opted to wait, not sure that was a good idea, but oh well! 6 days later off they went. I'll keep n eye out for the suture situation @_@
Cherries are awesome, huge bag for $6 at Sam's :)

I know how I felt about my c section scar healing... never wanted to look. Im hoping I am better this go. I've seen some people on this site who continuously keep the scar tape on it (I don't know what it's really called, I need to look that up). Im hoping to have that option.

Thanks! I am still using the basic brown tape from the doctor to just keep it covered and offer support. I haven't started any scar therapy yet. I go to see my doc this next Wed and hopefully all will be good. No fluid build up and happy incision is the goal right???? Have a great weekend! I love all ur outfit motivations. I cant wait to shop for things snug in the waist. This will be the first time in 15 years that I have a waistline!!! Best to you on your upcoming procedure :>)

All my clothes have been a Large & loose fitting. Now have to change the way I buy clothes so it can show our new curves. You look great!!!

Glad to see the drains r out, I too I am having a very small place healing, I have a small vertical line comming up from horizontal line about 2 inches & about a 1/8 hasn't closed all the way, driving me crazy, dr says it looks good but I hate the gauze and tape & waiting. Do u have pressure on your lower tummy, I do plus being numb around the incision line. You look great!

Yes exactly! Same. Numb tho super sensitive skin in 1 spot. Lower tummy has more swelling and pressure. I change the gauze a few times a day.

Good to hear from u, its comforting to know u are experiencing the samething, I didnt read about the numbness until after the surgery. This by far is the most draining & uncomfortable surgery I've had & I have had a few, I will be happy to feel normal again.l keep tracking your progress, u look wonderful!

Hi there! Looking fantastic:))
I am 6 weeks tomorrow and my incision bothered me for the first time. I too, am not sure if it's the hair on my incision line or what. Also, I've been more active too, so it could be that too. I am just going to leave the red iriation And the little white spot alone...and pray!!!
