I have fluctuated from 123-145 back and forth after having had 2 kids. I maxed at 165 during pregnancy but that was 7 yrs ago. I hv worked to get lean and clean up my habits over the last few years. Divorced and feel like I need to do this last bit of "removal" from my life. Lol. I am 2 weeks away from procedure and excited to see something different in the mirror. People always look at me sideways when I mentioned wanting to get this done but I feel like my stomach doesn't match the rest of my body. Happy to say goodbye to the skin and stretchmark layer of "squishy" as my son calls it. I'd like a belly button that doesn't frown and to see my lower abs again. Fingers crossed!

People also think I'm crazy that I'm having a tummy tuck on June 26th which is Monday and I weigh 115 and my waist is 26. I had lipo 15 years ago but needed to have the tuck done because I was already 40, my doctor said I didn't need it, he was wrong. So excited, I am finally finishing my journey, a tummy tuck & new implants replacing my 360 with 650 & a lift. Good luck!

Hows that pain pump working for you, I had asked my doctor about having one and she told me that she no longer uses the pain pump. My daughter was my pain pump for me which worked out well for me. How are you feeling you don't have the look of death on your face which is a great thing.keep in touch with me so we can see how things are going for each other I'm always here for you good luck

To answer, the pain pump seems to doing a great job. The localized pain is almost a zero unless I try to move at the wrong angle etc. honestly felt elated leaving the surgery center, Dr K let me take a sneak peak and my flat tummy made me soooooo happy. Plus my belly button is so much smaller. ( it was always big & round even as a kid.

2 Days until Surgery

Surgery is in 2 days and though I am looking forward to the end results I am apprehensive about the recovery. I'm nervous about being laid up for weeks. And also worried I won't have the result I am hoping for. Also not working out for 6 weeks sounds awful. Its weird because I am not a worrier normally but the closer I get the more anxious I get. Kids + summer +surgery, not sure what I was thinking! I have my scrips and a shower stool. Bedside tables and TV trays. Food snacks drinks comfy clothes. Books, Amazon & Netflix. And my mom! So now just waiting..... only a couple of days to go after years of stalking RS...????

It's like you're reading my mind! I have all of the same worries. Being confined to a couch, having my 5 year old around, not being able to do...anything!! My procedure is Thursday. No turning back and I'll see you on the flat side!!

Day 1 Operation Flatten me out!

POD1 ")ground zero"Had an excellent experience with Dr Kachenmeister and the Team at Newport surgical center. So glad I chose them. Both pre 8 post off teams were friendly and professional. I spent 1 night at the surgical center

I came out of procedure and had zero issues. I am grateful that my Doc used the localized pain pumps. I can barely feel a thing. Slept well on pain meds and have been taking them regularly
Definitely hunched over and glad my dad went out and rented a walker. I bought the raise toilet seat (oh so happy I did!) and a shower stool as well.
