ANXIOUS
I'm extremely anxious and considering postponing the date. With summer just around the corner and the timing of me just meeting someone, I feel as though it may be better to do the operation in the fall? Then I would have many months to cover it up and let it heal. I don't know how it's going to turn out and I don't want it on display for everyone to see, especially since I've not been open about the surgery. Any thoughts?

Hello all,
When I was 19 I decided to get breast implants (350cc saline, under the muscle). At the time, I was self-conscious about my breast and I felt like I needed them. I've regretted the decision ever since. I am 25 now and have just scheduled my surgery date for explant 4/21/16. I'm extremely nervous, and kind of excited. I don't have much of a support group in these matters, I've never talked to anyone about my surgery and it's not something I feel comfortable talking about. Realself has been a resource for me in the research process. I would like to share my story and be apart of the community. I am hoping to gain support during this mentally draining time. In return I hope to give other girls considering the procedure courage to go through with it.
