54 Yrs Old. Uk. Breast implant removal booked Jan 19th. 450cc Under Muscle

Flyinghorse, I was also so afraid but life is so much better without implants! Had mine removed 4 months ago, should have done it years ago but looking back fear let me keep them much too long!

Hi I've just seen your comment ! I've just had my implants removed by Mr Collis (Newcastle) unless you have been suffering from BiI then just have the implants out. There is little point giving yourself a massive wound the size of the implants. It's a far more serious operation and if it's not necessary why hurt you body. Mr Collis is a brillant Surgeon .

Ahh thanks for getting back to me. Not until end of August, but I’ve had ongoing issues with left one for three years and I’ve recently just heard about BII, and I think I may have that. I have another appointment with a mr Maclean at the Nufield on Monday. My original ps was adamant he wouldn’t do a capsulectomy and felt BII was “hysteria on the internet” cx

I understand exactly what your saying, I booked in to see both. Mr MacLean and Mr Collis. I was absolutely adamant that I had silent BII after starting to get really educated on the real issue of breast implants I felt like I was in prisioned in myself and these breast implants silently killing me. I realated to heart pulpatations , weight ,brain fog , burning feeling and a few more. So when I went to see Mr Collis he told me the same. I like you was in too minds . I had watched every single video on you tube and all had said get the capsal out. So I just sat and my heart sank when he said it wasn't necessary in my case , I had stage 2 capsaul still soft. I went home and thought I will see Mr McLean . But after a while what Mr Collis said made a lot of sense and looking him up he is one of the 3 top surgeons up North be careful not to give yourself unessary damage if your breasts are soft i would go with Mr Collis it's fast effective you will feel great .

Thank you katkahr. I have no muscle distortion and lifting is ok now but you'll have to be careful to begin with. I've worn my high Impact support bra 24/7 and will continue to for another month. I'm sure at 27 you'll have fab results and the local is a breeze! Good luck keep me updated. X

I'm sure you'll be happy with results cuh53. You are similar to me pre implant and with them. It's surprising how much the skin retracts after being stretched so much. Good luck..ill look out for you in April.x

I agreé with the above comment. Harvey 2016 you gave me the confidence to go ahead with my explant. It's happening on Monday 16th April. I'm so nervous and feeling a mixture of being terrified but excitied to get them out. Thank you for helping me make my decision and getting back to trhami you look amazing. Can I possibly ask what size you were before implants and what size were you with implants and what size are you post explant. Sorry but I'm trying to get my head ready for monday. Awesome result and I could only wish to every angel that I could have as good a job as yours.

In hospital as I type this. OMY I nearly chickened out because of being so scared but it's done and even though I haven't looked fully at them ( too scared) I had a sneaky look and they don't look as bad as I imagined. I am on oxy(something) morphine for the pain so it keeping it at bay. I will have the drains in for a week. I will do a review once I get my head around it and home. Thank you for your review. You can't believe how much it helped me so you have done a stranger a really good turn.Thank you.xx

welcome to the other side and so delighted for you. I didn’t look at mine either, in fact it was at least 2 days before I plucked up courage. Also remember that your boobs will change over the coming weeks, so what you see on day 2 will look completely different on week 4. Hi can I speak to you private? Not sure if it’s allowed .. I am from Newcastle and have seen Nick collie also another surgeon re explant but I am in a termoil !! I really want an uplift at same time but the surgeon I have chosen likes you to wait for a few months ! I don’t know if I can live with the results as have had mine in for 19 years
