You Get What You Pay For! Newcastle, AU

I have wanted to have a breast lift with implants for the last five years, I lost a significant amount of weight and after this my breast were no symmetrical, one was much bigger then the other and they both sat very low, I was very self conscious about them. A girlfriend and I finally decided to take the plunge and both do the surgery, my friend went with a well known company in Sydney as it was much cheaper, however as my surgery would be much more complex I decided to use Dr Turner, my first consultation with the clinic nurse was very informative, I have amazing pictures taken and could see an estimate of the results, I was given a lot of information, treated very kindly and they were more then happy to go over the scheduled 45 min to ensure I had all my questions answered. I had two appointments with Dr Turner prior to Surgery, he answered all of my questions and my partners questions and was very informative, on the day of the surgery I was not nervous at all as I was confident I was going to have a doctor who was very experienced in what he does. My friend had her surgery 3 weeks prior to mine, she had one appointment with the doctor one day before surgery, my recovery compared to hers has been faster and much more comfortable, she was limited in her options regarding above muscle, below muscle, breast shape etc. I am now just over one week post op, I feel great, I have already had a face to face follow up with Dr Turner (my friend only sends photo's which are reviewed by email) and have regular appointments planned in the future to continue to check my progress, I am happy with the result, I feel much more confident, my partner is very happy (br=because that's important too!) and I am looking forward to summer! through my experience, yes my friend had her surgery cheaper however my experience was much more informed, I felt very safe and the staff are extremely supportive, I think that my breasts will heal beautifully and I feel supported for the future regarding any little changes or worries that may pop up. I would definitely recommend this team and surgeon and firmly believe that although you may pay more, you get better quality, safety and result. (should also mention that buy profession, I am a Registered Nurse)
