7 weeks post op

I've head my moments of did I need to get this done now? now I have this scar and its a bit difficult to hide I cant just wear any bikini was it worth it etc.. I have my days.

I still have swelling which seems to be more pronounced on my left side then my right. I told my PS about my concern regarding the BB and he told me that he would check it in 1 more month. He didn't seem too concerned but I know my body that BB is not centered.
last week I had my 1st massage and it was so uncomfortable but at the same time good. I will be going for a 2nd week within the next two weeks. Cannot wait to get back to the gym I have been given clearance but waiting to get a bit more money so that I could renew membership in the meantime I'm going to start up some Bikram yoga for stretching and also to loosen me up more I feel so stiff.

Aside from that all is well I wear my binder still at night to help with swelling and still wearing compression garment for awhile.

I am swelling so much too! I have been thinking -why didn't I do this in the fall? By now I would be ready for bikini season! Initially, I thought I would be healed sooner - my surgery was on April 8th! Hang in there!
Oh & you look awesome by the way! Your belly button does not look off center in your photos.
I have the same thought I also think that it would have been better to get it done during fall and winter with the swelling, BB looking weird and your skin just healing its a process
You look so good in your 6 week post op pics! I am sure you are ecstatic with the results! I have been going to the gym for the past few weeks but only doing light cardio walking on the treadmill and stairmaster... my PS said wait until 10 to 12 weeks to run or do cycling class...its been driving me crazy not being able to get more fit again but when i walk on an incline on the treadmill i can feel my muscles pulling...its so strange.
Thank you!

I started doing Yoga I just feel that I need that stretch before I head to the gym. I'll be starting the gym again within the next few days my PS said to start off light but he gave me clearance to run however when I run lets say for the bus etc it feels weird so I'll see how that goes. I cannot wait to start sweating and moving again feels like your doing more to look even better.

When I was doing the yoga I felt tugging at my BB I guess that takes awhile to subside.
Hi Cat80, Your pics look really good! I'm doing research on getting a TT and I actually heard of your surgeon. He did a good job. Did you schedule a consult w/ any1 else before selecting him?
Thank you!

He was my only consult only because I had already spoken to someone who got a mommy makeover by him and I know 2 other people who have had surgeries with him.
Thanx for responding. How are you feeling so far? were you able to go back to work and resume your regular schedule?
I went back to work in 2 weeks it was a bit difficult that first week because I still was not 100% upright so that was tough. The 2nd week back was easier I started standing upright at about 3 weeks. After that I was getting around much better I resumed the gym etc at 6 weeks. I am 2 months now and I feel great the lipo areas are still sore and a bit uncomfortable but I hear that takes time.
Ur pics r nice I wish mines was like dat. My stomach is rock hard after my tt I'm 2 weeks post op ;( and my stomach looks huge
You are going to have a lot of swelling for months to come. I am 2 months post op and I still swell some days are worse than others.

4 weeks Post op

On the 19th I hit 1 month. I am doing pretty good I am already standing upright and started to do more around the house. Today I will finally take care of my 2 yr old on my own I have missed him so much. I didn't get clearance for that until 6 weeks but I cannot wait any longer I just have to be careful with lifting him in and out of the car.

I have 2 concerns regarding my TT. One is that my BB is not centered I noticed this from the very beginning but thought I would give it time. Well its been 1 month and it's still the same so i will bring that up again I just would hate to be cut again and have to go through the whole BB healing even though mine healed quickly.
Another concern that I have is that I had muscle repair and the left side of my abdomen is more raised than my right. My right is flat and the left is more out have no idea why I hope this isn't something that has to be revised either. I have a pre op in another week so hopefully I will hear something good.

Wow our TT's look alike! My PS gave me a tiny waist too along with some nice boobies! I'm 11 days post op :) We're gonna be hot this summer!
you look awesome amazing i want to look just like that when mine is done....wish u the best
Cat,

I started picking up my son that is 23lbs at week 3 and I am okay... was sore for a bit but had to do it since my hubby was in a motorcycle accident... I was just more careful to lift with arm and leg strength... But I am 7 weeks now and okay =) Don't worry about one side being puffier than the other.... it happens to me too and I just saw my PS on Monday and he said its just swelling.... said that I would see final results by the 4 month marker as swelling was concerned! Not sure about the BB issue...in your pics it doesn't look off center or anything... I think you look fabulous!!!
Blondiekj that makes me feel better I've heard people say that by the 1 month mark the way your tummy looks now is the way it's going to stay so thats why I freak out a bit.
I will def bring it up though.
Geez, you should see me now... I am so much more swollen than I was a week or two ago... I don't know if its because its 95 degrees here in MD over the past weekend but it is horrible... I have such bad swelling.... don't know what is going on...UGH! But Madison who is 7 weeks too has this horrible swelling too... So I can't wait for the 4 month mark so I can look normal.... lol!
I went for my 4 week PO on Friday and ge sai that I could see heavy swelling with my workouts. He did not mention the heat. It was 93 in PA this weekend too but I did not notice any additional swelling. It was a holiday weekend did you eat things with a higher sodium content?
