I just got my surgery yesterday and I'm not sure what the result it... My nose was supposed to be lengthened and projected . Since I'm still wearing cast etc I still can't tell result but will post as soon as I can. I have had several previous rhinoplasties where Doctor took too much cartilage... So I had to b rebuilt.

okay... so cast is off and tape is on.... I was super duper excited ... nose looks projected and so much more natural.... my only concern is it may end up being too thin.... but so far so good. Also my bruises are slowly getting better but still not gone..... at this point i'm cautiously happy! Also my doc and the after care and nurses have all been GREAT! I'm so no photogenic but will post pics later... at least of my profile.

okay... here are a couple of pictures.. the before and after morphs from doc, and me after taking a shower. The bruising is still awful.... and I'm not going to lie i have some anxiety.... Im told it looks good but getting adjusted to looking different again is making me anxious... Stitches on columella are still on...... please be nice on comments.. still very sensitive .

Thank u! I'm happy that he was able to build it up and project it since too much was taken off before from another doc.... I'm adjusting to looking different .... I can't say I'm happy yet? I'm sure my revision friends understand my feelings! As for Grafts he used my ear cartilage to for tip grafts, and columella... R u looking for a revision?

yes, you're right - I am looking for a revision. I can understand your fealings about getting used to the new nose. But I am pretty sure, it turns out great :) Most revision pics I saw, weren't as good as yours- and your still swollen. Did he used diced cartilage? Extension grafts? Or a shieldgraft on your nosetip? How did he derotate your tip? All the best from Europe

actually... I have no idea what grafts he used... I will ask when I see him in two weeks..... so far i'm getting used to it and its getting better and better ... more natural looking.

You are still swollen and it will be nicer and nicer as the swelling goes down.

thank you.. yes i'm happy that it looks natural on my face.. that's all i wanted ..... I still have un-even nostrils, but compared to the overall improvement.. I'm pretty happy....... I just hope the healing goes well as its still early.
