Rhinoplasty and Sinus Surgery. New York, NY

Have always wanted this surgery, and got better breathing to boot, thanks to a great and diligent doc.

It's a lot of money, but hopefully it will be a great investment for me, as my nose always made me feel self-conscious and I had breathing problems.

I had spent years researching rhinoplasty, but didn't find a great doctor till my fifth try. My advice would be, don't go with someone who doesn't listen to your concerns. Of course, a plastic surgeon knows what will look best, but they need to take your personality and desires into consideration.

Feeling optimistic about my new look...a very subtle change but I think I'll look less intense and cranky all the time! Plus, I don't have to worry about what angle pictures are taken at anymore. Probably will be a hard habit to break. I'm 9 days out and have my first social gathering tomorrow. Still some apparent bruising so I'm hoping make up does the trick.

Major swelling on my bridge and tip and bruising even 9 days out. Worked yesterday and having drinks with friends tomorrow so hoping it's faded by then! Don't want to show up with a couple of shiners and have them call the cops on my bf.

Also have incredible amounts of crusting and gunk in my nostrils from the sinus work. Using neti pot a few times a day In order to breathe through my nose.
