I'm about one week away from my rhinoplasty/septoplasty and could not be more excited/nervous! While I've wanted to do this for my entire life, I've never had surgery before and have always been nervous about going under the knife. I filled all of my prescriptions today and it really began to sink in.

Feeling extremely stuffy which makes it hard to swallow. When I use my nasal spray, it helps a lot. My procedure seemed to have gone well according to Dr. W. The office followed up with me yesterday to see how I was doing. Yesterday was rough, but hoping to get better by the day!

Day 6 Post-Op: Feeling So Much Better

For the first three days I was so stuffy to the point of exhaustion: I could barely eat, breathe or even drink water! Yesterday, however, I went into Dr. W's office so that he could "clean me up" (basically, he suctioned all of the gunk out) and it was like a miracle. I could breathe and instantly felt 100x better! I'm now just 2 days away from having my cast removed and could not be more excited!

Exciting! Eek! Here's a list of pre- and post-op tips. I will be thinking of you next week. :D
