I went walking yesterday, about 3 miles and when I got home I noticed under my right breast was oozing a little bit. When I showered later I removed my tape from my right breast and found some white stuff at the junction where the vertical and horizontal incisions meet. I also noticed that my belly button looked wet and when further inspecting with a mirror I saw the same white stuff on one side. I immediately took pictures and emailed my PS telling him what I found along with the pictures I took. This was about 10:30 at night no less. He is really the most wonderful and concerned PS. He emailed me back within 10 minutes. He said it looks like a superficial infection. I am to wash the areas with the Hibiclens (pre surgical body wash) and to put bacitracin on twice a day with fresh gauze. I feel like I was taking really great care of my incisions. I think having the surgical cg directly on my skin and on my belly button may have caused it. I wish I would have kept gauze on it while I had something directly touching it. He said it it doesn't get any better in a few days he will call in a script to my local pharmacy for an antibiotic. I am hoping it gets better without needing something more. I am posting a few of the pics that I took.

Did your doctor use any stitches for your breast lift? Because that's how my holes would start out I would see white pus like fluid then the stitch would start coming out. My PS as well as the PS I saw here in NY just to make sure it was ok said that with a breast lift that was normal but it's scary to see anything not right.

Thanks for the comments. I just found the same thing on the other side. What did your PS suggest for it?

He didn't I just did my research and read some suggestions here on realself and did medihoney paste first that was great but I was using gauze and tape to cover it and the adhesive was giving me an allergic reaction so then I found Duoderm I love it I cut it to the size I need and it sticks right on no itching no redness it last for 7 days but I change every 3 and the holes that it's healed already look good.

Oh almost forgot the holes will not close until the stick comes out I got scared at first because holes would not close but then I noticed that as soon as the stich or knot would come out it would finally close.

Looks to me like your just spitting stitches which is basically a small superficial infection to the sutures if it's not dissolved I bet you'll start to see them come out which is good because then your incision will close up for good:-) I don't think you did anything wrong this happened to me as well...sometimes it takes a bit for them to work there way out...;)

Isn't it wonderful to have a PS and nurse that are so responsive! I know for me that was a large part of chosing mine! Hope you are feeling better!

I just wanted to post some of the bikini pics that I took this morning. I think once the swelling goes down the bathing suit bottom will cover the scar. You can see that going up from my belly button there are 2 lines that go from each side of it all the way up and form a very skinny triangle. That triangle has a rough surface to it. I try to exfoliate it everyday and am constantly putting the Arnica cream or regular moisturizer on it but it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I suppose its another thing to ask the PS about. I am going to make an appointment to get laser hair removal of my bikini line while I am there. Another thing I have wanted for so long, I am so done with waxing and shaving. Hope you had a great day.

Hi you look great I wanted to comment about the firmness of your breast I had the same procedure as you on Feb 13th and my breast were also very firm and hard so I started gently massaging them I use coconut oil and bio oil and that seems to have helped with softening them especially now because I've been having spitting stiches that were causing some holes and causing me to get some scar tissue underneath breast so massaging has helped soften that as well. Also at 3 weeks post op my breast also looked really big and swollen but now at 8 weeks post op I've noticed that they have dropped and they don't look as huge or swollen as before so give it a few weeks and they won't look so big. I went from a 36C to a 34D I was like you I just wanted my perky breast back not [RS bleep] breast! lol But, I think so many years of not having perky breast and now having them again is taking some getting use to. Hope this helps and congratulations on passing the RN exam that's my next goal :-)

Hey ladies of RS! Its been over a week since my last update and I still fell like not much has changes. Well..... maybe a little. My breasts still feel the same and don't seem that they have moved although I don't think that they were very high to begin with. To be honest, I am at the moment not that happy with them. I feel like they look and feel like a melon cut in half and strapped to my chest. The feel hard and look huge to me. I didn't want big. I am more modest and now afraid that all of my cute tops will look like crap. I don't want to dress for my breast. Definitely not having boobie greed which some woman speak about. I am hoping in time the will get smaller. I like the upper pole fullness but thats about it. I didn't think that 385cc would make me this huge. Maybe I'm still swollen? I don't know. My incisions look great. The tape around my right nipple started peeling off in the shower yesterday and so pulled it off and put fresh tape on. I have been using Mederma 2x daily even though it is only needed once. My next PO appointment isn't until April 8th so I am not jumping the gun and calling him to ask about why they are so firm. I know with the textured implants you do not need to message them and you have less chance of capsular contraction so that hasn't really concerned me. Im just going to be patient and give time time. As for my TT, I am so happy with it. My scare looks great and the swelling is subsiding. I ordered a cg over a weak that a friend from RS loves but am still waiting for it so i have been between wearing spanx and my surgical cg which i am SO OVER!!!! it irritates my skin. I still feel very tight but started taking my regular muscle relaxers for my back called Skelaxin (they don't make me cloudy or tired) after I started taking them it seems easier to stretch. I am having trouble sleeping through the night. I am a stomach sleeper and this is driving me crazy. Even trying to sleep on my side is a little uncomfortable and I am constantly flip-flopping around all night. l can't wait to feel like my normal self. My PS gave me the ok to go walking but to take it easy and slowly build up day by day. My first time out felt great. Walked a couple of miles with my mom. After a few hours my pubic area was soon swollen, I took some advil and it helped. I am posting a few pics i took this morning and will take some bikini shots tomorrow. Any one have comments about my breast with why they feel so firm?

You're breasts look great!! Don't worry they will soften up a lot and be a bit more natural feeling it took mine about 6-9 months!! Your tummy looks PERFECT!!!

Im more worried about the size of them then anything. I tried on a 34DD and it fit. I was originally going for a 34C which is what I was but much perkier. Im not going to obsess about it for now, I know there is nothing I can do at the moment. I will see my PS on the 8th and see what he says. My mom says she thinks I am going to love them, and I am just so used to having such deflated breasts.
