After a Rhinoplasty and Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty - both done by Dr. Robert Guida - I lost about 30 pounds. I noticed that my jowl and neck area looked "saggy". I started pulling back the skin on my face when I looked in the mirror and realized I could use a facelift.
I returned to Dr. Robert Guida and asked him about a "deep plane facelift" for the lower part of my face. He explained the procedure and showed me before and after pictures. He assured me that the procedure would take care of the jowls and neck area - and also improve the marionette lines that always bothered me. He explained that I would have to return to the office the very next day after the procedure so he could check the incisions and make sure everything was as it should be. Having been through surgery twice before with Dr. Guida - I was confident in his ability and had no question that I was in the right hands.
I had the procedure and felt absolutely NO PAIN and had no bruising - which is common with this procedure. I saw the results of his work IMMEDIATELY! I had a pressure bandage around my head - but I could immediately see I looked 20 years younger!
When I returned the next day - even the staff could not believe that I had the procedure less than 24 hours before. It just looked like I had a bandage around my head - I had no bruising, swelling or any negative effects that are common with surgery! It was like a miracle - I went into his office and came out 20 years younger! It was like I stepped into a time machine and took off 20 years of my life!
Dr. Robert Guida truly is a gifted surgeon. Each and every procedure I have had with him has more than exceeded my expectations. The results are outstanding! I know that how you recover "post-op" is largely due to how you are handled under anesthetic. He is also a "gentle surgeon" - that is why I believe I didn't have any negative side effects - no bruising - no swelling - at all!
If you are considering any facial plastic surgery - you would be fortunate to have Dr. Robert Guida as your surgeon. I wouldn't go anywhere else. He truly is a Miracle Worker!
