I am a 59 year old whose jowls, and lower face were looking, well, old. So this was a pre 60th birthday gift to myself. Three weeks out and no stranger would ever know that I had a face lift. Unless, of course, you look behind my ears and under the chin. I had minimal bruising and minimal pain. I felt so great that I probably overdid it running around Manhattan 2 days after the surgery.
I chose Dr. Rosenberg based on his work on two other friends. I did not consult with anyone else. I live in South Carolina and it IS more difficult not being in your own home. However, the hotel next door to his office was terrific. His staff is incredible. Nurse Natasha and Nurse Kim were super stars.
At 3 weeks out under my neck is still tight. Right now I can't even imagine getting my hair colored, So I'll deal with the roots!
I did not keep this procedure a secret from my friends so it is a bit disconcerting having everyone dissecting the work done. So far everyone says I just look like a younger me...and that is exactly what I wanted.

hi, did any of your friends happen to have rhinoplasty with him? I am considering him for that surgery. And congratulations on your wonderful results!

Was $40k just for the facelift? I'm considering upper eyes, face and nose...he's my favorite so far. Waiting for my quote..

I had FT in tear trough under eyes from another doc and it looks amazing. Like I got a mid-face lift! But I still have jowls:( I def. want to go to Dr Rosenberg for any kind of Face lift. And, I could use a brow lift. Did you jowl lift also lift the mid-face? or did it just fix jowls/neck? Thanks
Happy 60th and thank you for sharing on RealSelf! I'm glad all has gone well for you. Would getting your hair colored put strain on your neck...is that why you wouldn't get that done yet?
