3 months post op - Buttock Implants with Dr Senderoff
I am delighted with the results. I was shocked to see my before and after pics, I didn't realize that the BBL i had in 2013 had totally messed up my butt, I was not that bad before I had the BBL. Because I have very little fat i had no option but to go with buttock implants and I love the results. See the pics (sorry for poor quality).
Questions to Ask when planning for Buttock Implants
-Where will they be placed? Intramuscular or Subfascial (I had sub fascial). I think this method heals faster and there is less pain, at least that was my experience.
-Where is the incision going to placed? (Dr Senderoff does one incision right the below tail bone but far away from anus so there very little risk of infection - he doesn't do two incisions). My stitches were dissolvable.
Will you need drains. My stitches were dissolvable and by the way no drains.
-How long will you not be able to sit? Doc said 10 days. Honesty, it isn’t very comfortable so start by sitting for 10 to 15 minutes and taking breaks in between. I'm 2 weeks and 1-day post op and am still sleeping on tummy. Also, doc doesn’t want me to not exercise, take stairs or be two active for at least 2 to 3 more weeks.
Ask what Pre op test required? usually Blood work and an EKG
Will I be given antibiotics? in my case it was in the IV during the operation, therefore no additional meds were needed.
What type of painkillers will I be prescribed? I was given Percocet, and by the way I had a weird reaction - I didn’t sleep for 24 hours. I called doc and his assistant shared that sometimes a person can get a reverse reaction and it has the opposite effect of keeping you up instead of knocking you out. After that I took 2 Tylenols every 6 hours or so at 500mg for the first 3 days. I didn’t need any pain meds after that.

Hi ladies, I would like to share my experience...
Hi ladies, I would like to share my experience with Buttock implants with Dr. Senderoff in NYC. I am two weeks days post op.
I had a Brazilian butt lift back in 2012. The results were great for about a year, but after that I lost all the fat and my butt became soft and squarish looking. Because I am petite (5’1” and 125lbs) I was not eligible for a second BBL. I had a consultation with the NY king of BBL's, Dr. Matthew Schulman who said I would not be a good candidate because of low body fat and previous work done. He shared that my other option was buttock implants but that he doesn’t do them and the proceeded to refer me to Dr. Senderoff.
I started researching him but to my dismay there weren’t many reviews and the few ones that I would find were mixed, in some cases not positive. I worked up the nerve to make an appointment for a consultation. Upon meeting him, he is very serious and professional. He is not the warm and fuzzy type that will strike up conversation (not a deal breaker for me – just letting folks know). He was quick and thorough. He shared that I would be a good candidate as I had little body fat for a BBL but enough fat on the buttock area where an implant would look nice and give me more projection.
I had a number of questions but he proceeded to walk me over to his coordinator Jomarie and left me with her. I was a bit surprised because I thought he would be the one who would answer the questions. However, Jomarie is very personable and knowledgeable and after speaking with her I was so convinced to move forward that I put down a deposit to secure a surgery date. By the way Dr. Senderoff has done the most buttock implants in the Northeast area (over 200 operations). He also is very conservative, he knows what will work for your body and isnt going to let you go Nikki Minaj big - lol.
Today I am two weeks post op (see pics), and am very happy with the results. I am still a bit sore, if I sit for two long my butt hurts so I try to sit for 15 minutes on and off. I was able to sit as per the doctor after 10 days.Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Provider Review
He is very direct and straight to the point but at this point my opinion is that he is the best doctor for this procedure in the northeast (NYC) area
