1 Year Later...

My boobs looks great! The scars are not minimal as I would have hoped they are rather dark but, I do love the size and I still have feeling. Its not the same feeling, but its sensation nonetheless.

1 Month Post Op

Im feeling amazing. The discomfort for the liposuction has diminished substantially and the scars are also disappearing nicely. My breast don't feel as stiff as they were before and they are healing lovely. The A symmetry that existed pre the surgery is none existent from what I can see. The only concern that I have is that one areola appears to be a bit larger than the other. I was told that they will stretch over time but, im hoping that the difference in size eventually evens out. I have been massaging the cream twice a day and the lumps on the size have gone down as well. Im very pleased as I sleep on my stomach every now and then and even lay on my side.

I couldn't be happier with the results thus far. I feel great and look amazing I don't see the doctor again until February but, I will keep the account updated with pictures and progress.

Boobs are healing nicely! I have gauze, this medical waterproof tape over my nipple which allows me to shower with no issues. I DONT ALLOW THE WATER TO BEAT DIRECTLY ON MY BOOBS! I wash lightly using Dial Antiseptic Soap. I was advised not to scrub because, I could irate the tissue trying to settle back in. I notice a lot of the scabbing from the lipo peels off more and more each day which is great. Im not only wearing the medical bra at this point im wearing sports bra with underwire or harsh material. Im between an average C and a large C as the two sports bra I purchased are C cups but, bra sizes vary based on brand. I also pad the bra to prevent from rubbing against the scars etc. I do not take any Tylenol anymore. The tense feeling that I have goes and comes and is the farthest thing from unbearable. I notice this discomfort comes from when im in a particular position for an extended period of time and then I go to move. I can lift my arms over my head, although its still a little tight from the lipo. Also, I get dressed alone, lotion alone and wash and im back to cooking. I've been sleeping in my own bed since the end of the first week. I sleep propped up on my back. Left side is okay but the right side is still to tense. I can lay on my side for increments at a time maybe 10 minutes here and there not continuously throughout the night.

My focus at this point is healing well and minimizing scars. I wanted to use Vitamin E on the scars to minimize the appearance but I was give a prescription for Mupirocin ointment which prevents bacteria as I heal up since the badges over my nipples have been removed. I have 5 refills so I will using it generously and every time I change the dressings over my nipples and the scars. I did notice that the scars are disappearing on their own so, im grateful for the great skin I have!
one of boobs seems to be healing faster than the other but the Dr. ensured me that they will look identical once the scabs etc fall off and I complete the healing process.

I am not expected to return to visit the doctor until February but, im confident all is going well and will continue to do so. It still feels surreal that im so small but, I couldn't be happier with the work. Im not only pleased with the Dr. work but im also pleased with his level of professionalism. I never felt like a patient I felt like a friend. He was professionally personable and empathetic to my level of pain, any concerns, questions etc. I am however, going to continue to update my post to show the progress im making to share with other viewers and answer any questions that I can about the Dr. and the procedure.

Fast Forward... I meet with Dr. John Curran and at first I was a little skeptical because, I hadn't done my research prior to the visit it was kind of the same day walk in but, I asked as many questions as possible. He was patient, polite, honest and stated I was the perfect candidate. He saw Asymmetry with my boobs, he also acknowledged the inflammation in my shoulders and said he didn't see why I wouldn't be an appropriate candidate. So, it was at that time he gave me a quote, took pictures, scheduled the surgery date for me and gave me the authorization form to be filled by my doctor. I didn't see the need in prolonging setting a date, I wanted he, he could do it, I was confident, he was confident and the quote was phenomenal why not? We were shooting for a particular date but, he gave me the closest thing to it which was two days before thanksgiving. I enjoyed how modern his communication was. He didn't give me a card and tell me to call the office with questions, he allowed me to email him and my emails were answered all throughout the day not just business hours which also made me more comfortable. He never seemed bothered by my questions, he explained things in lament terms not medical jargon which was also highly appreciated. He was also well organized he as never scrambling for things when I went to see him, he was also more concerned with what I was feeling and what I was thinking more than anything else.
