No Vertical Scar. Goes Breast Lift and Implant Removal. Couldn't Be Happier

54 years old, 34C. Had first implants just two years before. After menopause and weight loss, my breasts became 'empty balloons'. I was not really unhappy with them, but found certain clothes no longer worked well, and had a friend who'd had really great, natural results with just implant to fill things back up a bit. For me, the vertical scars of a lift we're deal breakers. I'd never been particularly perky, and just wanted some of my old volume back.

I found a surgeon willing to do just an augmentation, even though my actual measurements indicated a lift. He chose to go above muscle for a more natural result, using 270 and 310 cc to even my natural unevenness. The result was really very natural and I was quite happy, although I found myself a 34DD, which was much bigger than ideal for me.

Fast forward 2 years, and the implants had dropped a bit and I was feeling increasingly uncomfortable with the weight of the implants.

After reading a lot of reviews and a lot of online research into breast lifts that do not use a vertical incision, I came across Dr Freund. After reading some of his comments and feedback, and visiting his website and photo gallery, I decided I wanted to meet with him when I next visited New York.

Dr Freund and his staff are all very warm, friendly and helpful. When talking with Dr Freund he explained his training and experience with the Goes technique. He felt that I was just outside of the optimal measurements for the optimal result with this technique, but was willing to consider it when I clearly explained that I was not looking to be as high and firm as a young woman. I was truly looking for the lift he could reasonably give me and, if I had enough of my own tissue for an esthetic result, to remove the implants entirely.

We had a follow up appointment by video call, and I scheduled my surgery for 2 months later, when I could travel to NY and stay for 10 days.

The surgery went very well. I saw Dr Freund 3 days post surgery to remove drains, and 10 days post surgery to remove stitches before returning home.

Dr Freund was able to give me a full 2 inches of lift, and remove the implants. I love the results! I have continued to heal well, and the scars and puckering continue to heal and improve. I am just 3 months out from surgery and couldn't be happier. I expect the scars and puckering to continue to fade.

I could not recommend Dr Freund any more highly. He was a true partner in helping me realize he result I wanted. He helped me understand the realistic results I could expect, given my particulars, and was willing to work outside of the box with me. He, and his entire staff, have been an absolute pleasure. I only wish I had found him before going through my original augmentation!

I'm posting comparable pre and post surgery photos here. I couldn't be happier with the result at 4 months. The scars are healed and fading to barely visible and the puckering is almost completely smoothed out. I love having the weight of the implants gone, and actually being able to wear certain clothes with no bra for the first time in my life!!!

Dr Freund took a chance and applied his skill and experience in a situation that was not traditionally considered optimal for this kind of lift - with no vertical incision - and the result he obtained could not be more amazing. A full 2 inches of lift, without a vertical scar. And a very natural result.
