Naturally anyone would be a bit nervous but I said "what the heck" I know I am not going to die in surgery so Im just going to do it. I had a decent bust size prior to my surgery (34B) but I has more rib cage than breast tissue! I also noticed as I got older and or when I was thinner than usual, I'd lose my breast tissue as well. I am too tall and fit to not have breast meat! In addition to my own little vanity issues breast cancer runs in my family. Even at a young age every woman in my family for the last 5 generations has had some sort of abnormal this and that with a biopsy here and there for their breast. YIKES! I figured that eventually I could very well be next so I might as well enjoy some BOOBIES! AND I DID and I LOVE them. I am especially happy that I had them BEFORE I had my baby. It's common for people to tell you to wait or want to wait but WHY? You know what comes "after" a baby or too? BROKENESS lol Not to mention no time to heal. I could not imagine having surgey after a baby and not being able to lift them up or rest properly in additional to all of the new things on your chore list. HA, not for me. I also could not imagine looking at myself with long delfated breast and a stretched out discolored torso "post baby" oh my goodess! Can we please eliminate one of these dislikes! lol I would have done it all the same had I had to choose all over. Although it was an unplanned event, I breast fed just perfectly. To keep "perfect" breast everyone advises NOT to breast feed, but I wanted natural looking breast not perfect - and that they are. I lost some of the perk I had in them which is great for me. My breast are full and jiggly in all of the right places. My only fear is eventually I will have to get them removed and before I am too old for the surgery. I am not ooking forward to it one bit. It is by far the only con that pops up in my head - that one day I have to get them "re-done" or removed. I have fears like "omg" I want my same Dr. because he is AMAZING and has a technique like no other, BUT will he be in practice when it's time, what if something happens to him and he can't do it, what if, what if, what if!?! The pro's are that with a lil extra something on top, your waist naturally looks smaller, I feel more feminine than I did with my "natural" breast, my breast look as REAL as ever and no one can tell or believes me when I tell them, and my Dr. is still there for me after TWO whole years and will be for a long time to come. I am the happiest gal when it comes to my breast! No regrets at all.
