what an artist! i am so happy! - New York, NY

I was researching BA doctors on Realself.com. I was a very heavy child and was a 34DD in my mid to late teens. I got involved in Bikini Athletic competitions and now as a professional athlete, Clinical Nutritionist and Athletic Trainer,,,,,due to losing my body fat I lost my breasts. The left side was smaller than the right and although I could use a balconette bra to lift them....they just hung down like pancakes. Needless to say I was self conscious. I am almost 53 years old and just needed this for me. My friends all have them and look great, especially in bikini competitions with all the bling!

I came across several doctors and honestly only saw one other plastic surgeon before choosing Dr. Desai. The other doctor had more pictures than you could imagine of his patients on his site but it is the repiore and the comfortable feeling you have with a surgeon that makes you decide. Dr.Desai was the doctor for me!

Besides reading about his impeccable credentials, it was his kind and understanding demeanor that made me choose him. Dr Desai was so patient with me and actually and let me try on so many implant to see what size I would want and then explained how surgery would be performed. He suggested to use 300cc on the R and 350cc on the L to be even.. He even thought I could go a little bigger,, I was to say the least nervous about the bigger implant. However, as nervous as I was, I booked and paid for my surgery the same day and 2 weeks later on July 22, 2016 I had the surgery.

In the middle of all the days waiting for the surgery I called him and told him I didn't wanted 250 instead. He said I could have what I wanted but He really felt It would not lift me as much and I would be unhappy. Although he agreed I could be smaller. Well I was still undecided about the size on the day of the surgery.. Dr Desai is so amazing, kind and I trusted him a million percent!.. he said lets go try them on again .. even 30 minutes before before my surgery! He explained that once he put the implant under the muscle I would lose 50cc in size. That was the deciding factor. The Dr was 100% right ! I chose Silicon implants and he used 300 on the R and 350 on the L.
Surgery went smooth and I was home a few hours later. I heal really fast and you may or may not believe me but I had NO PAIN at all. In fact I took 2 pain pills and a muscle spasm drug 1 Friday night when i got home and on Sat night But didn't need them and stopped.. Saturday afternoon 24 hours after surgery I went bra shopping and ran errands and Sunday was a normal day then back to work on Monday. I am posting a photo of me from Thursday July 21st 2016 and Saturday 24 hours after surgery July 23rd 2016. I went from a 34A to a Full 34C/D. I am so so so so happy about my BA and the size too! Dr Desai was so right!

Dr Desai's work is impeccable! He does not post pics due to the confidentiality of his patients but you may look at his work in the office. Every surgery was perfect!! Today was my first week follow up and no pain and no scar AT ALL!! I have to use Mederma and massage 2x a day but I'm back in the gym.. no chest work but can everything else with a few restrictions!
