Consultation with vectra
Nice office with nice staff. The vectra machine was awesome although the boob size it recommended for me based on measurements was WAY to small. Why would I go for surgery to still have tiny [RS bleep]. the #1 reason women go for a second breast augmentation is because they wished they went bigger. So please please don't choose your size entirely upon this machine.
Anywho.. Dr. Shaffer was kind and easy to talk to as I asked many questions BUT I felt his answers were very generic.
The consultation costed $200 and the woman at the front desk will promise that he has "plenty" before/after photos but there were only maybe 8. To justify this she also claimed that other doctors who do have before/afters don't use their own photos which might be true but for very few And that's not enough to make me want to take a shot with Dr. Shaffer.
In my opinion it doesn't matter how nice the office looks or how the doctor woos me.... seeing the results and artistic talent in the doctors very own work is KEY !
You want a doctor who has done hundreds of these procedures and has to proof ! it's true results will be different for everyone but until you look at 50 sets of patients who's results are all flawless regardless of their prior breast size/shape...keep researching!

Hi all, this is procedure that I've been wanting...
Hi all, this is procedure that I've been wanting since I was 16 and I'm more than ready to finally make it happen. I'm 5'2", 135lbs, 34A. Although I don't have much breast tissue at all, I believe my skin is firm and chest/shoulders are somewhat broad enough to handle big tatas! I'm wishing for a full C cup, sub-muscular.. this should make sense considering my desired look and what will best fit my body. I have not yet decided btwn regular Silicone and the Gummy bear implants. PLEASE PLEASE share your opinions/experience/comments about this type of implant.
I've discovered that Dr.Shafer has had some of the best reviews of the plastic surgeons I've researched in NYC. The only downfall thus far is that he does not offer before&after photos on the Web (only in person during the $200 consultation with Vectra imaging).
I really want to go to a PS in Beverly Hills as those doctors seem to have done thousands of BA's and each patient looks like perfection but it would cost about $2000 for travel aside from the $10,000 procedure so I'm giving NYC Doc a shot.
