I had my consultation with Dr. Schulman yesterday 4/27/16, and it was a pleasant one. Dr. Schulman has been the only doctor I have interviewed for the procedure I am interested in (BBL). After speaking with him, as well as, his staff members I have decided there was no need to interview or research other doctors. I was able to proceed with scheduling a surgery date the same day as my visit. I am 27 years old with no kids, I have recently over the years been gaining weight and I felt very unhappy with myself. I have tried dieting and detoxing to help slim down enough to help me feel comfortable in my own skin but unfortunately I was not successful. It was not until recently I was told the reason for my weight gain was due to high levels of testosterone and it was also a cause for my hair to thin. I am now taking the proper medication to help keep my levels down and prevent from gaining further weight. I am 5'5" and currently weight 168 pounds. My surgery was scheduled for July 7th which gives me time to try and shed a few pounds to get closer to my ideal weight. I would recommend Dr. Schulman to anyone who is seeking for the same procedure as I am. I have discussed with Dr. Schulman my ideal look as a result for this procedure and he is able to accommodate me. I look forward to my surgery with him and trust his work 100%.

Since I was a smoker up until my consultant Appontment I was unable to do my surgery any sooner then June 16th but there were conflicts with work around that time so I had to push it July 7th which was the next opening.

That's awesome! You won't be let down, he did such a good job with me. I'm doing pretty good I have to say minor the fact that I still can't sit yet or sleep on my sides. I just since surgery been struggling with insomnia where nothing I do seems to work even prescribed sleeping pills. Since I been back to work standing on my feet has helped abit to where my body then let's me sleep for about 4-5 hours max a night. I take what I can get, I think it's just the sleeping on stomach I'm not use to it. How is your recovery coming along?

I had a smooth tuck with my bbl so I'm in a lounged position on my back.. I've been able to sleep pretty well which I'm surprised cuz I'm generally a stomach sleeper.. I have pillows propped behind my head and knees .. Maybe that will be helpful for You? It's much better then being flat .. I'm so happy ur thrilled with your results I can't wait to see mine!

Yeah, I been sleeping on pillows from head to toe since my bbl lol how is your pain? Please post pictures up on your progress. I have taken some pictures but I never got around to post them up. I'll be taking current ones and post them up soon. I just completed my 6th week today. I still have some swellen in my stomach by my lower abdominal and on my belly button. I hope it goes away soon. Dr. Schulman did mention in some cases you may not be able to see full results up to a year, and since I'm on my feet during the day all my weight is going down so it was going to be the last areas for the swellen to go down.

Yea being on your feet will definitely make you swell.. My pain level isn't terrible, gets less and less everyday.. I have more of a sore burning type of sensation.. Getting up to walk to the bathroom is a nightmare it literally takes like 45 mins and I get really hot and start to sweat, my heart races and I get nauseous.. I'm hoping that gets better soon cuz when I'm in bed in ok for the most part

I'm sure you'll be happy to know that's normal. I had the burning sensation in my inner thighs the first day felt like they were on fire. The hot and sweating Is also normal I went through the same thing it was the most unpleasant feeling made me want to rip off everything and just take a cold shower. I did experience the nauseous as well but I have to admit it was about 3 times for the food & caffeine smell, I think it was the medications. I have to say though, the heart racing I haven't experienced. Have you looked into other people's reviews to see if they also experienced the same thing? Might help to see what they do to help with that. I give you a high five for high tolerance of pain, you mentioned the pain isn't terrible. I totally underestimate dr. Schulman's comments on what to expect I felt soooooo miserable the first 4 days. Words couldn't describe the feeling. I had two medical surgerys years ago and I swore nothing wasn't going to be as bad or worst and boy was I wrong! I promise you, it will get better as the days go by. I would recommend continue taking arnica Montana herbal supplements. I brought a new bottle at the vitamin shopp after I finished the one dr. Schulman prescribed

I do think I have a pretty high pain tolerance but I also think I way over estimated the amount of pain I'd be in.. So I guess that's good in a way.. I woke up in pain but was like "ok I'm alright" lol I started drinking that pedialight juice for kids with the electrolytes in it.. That has made a WORLD of a difference.. Definitely helps with the nausea and the dizziness.. I wish I started that sooner .. I just can't wait to get these drains out and be semi normal again

I had a bbl with him on July 7/2015 , I'm very happy with the results , I even went back to him for my breast implants 2 months ago , you're in a good hand , he's a great great surgeon

As of right now my diet consist of no soda (can't give up my coffee lol just use 2 percent milk instead of whole milk) no greasy foods, I am eating two egg whites in the morning and during the rest of the day I will switch it up with greens and grilled chicken or weight watchers & smart ones products such as TV dinners, flatbread Frozen sandwhichs. I have saltine crackers with weight watchers cream cheese, I also switch things up with low fat cheese, I treat myself to snacks such as jello or a fat free Italian icy or even Quaker rice cakes in varity of flavors I currently am eating the gluten free chocolate crunch flavor.

I had my Brazilian butt lift yesterday with Dr. Schulman. I have to say no matter what you read nothing prepared me for the pain after, it is all to real. I'm very swollen so I can't wait until some of the swellen goes down. I'm so impressed how quick the procedure went and how everyone on his team took good care of me before, during and after the process. My big challenge right now is the getting out of bed once I'm up things gets easier for me. Dr. Shulman was able to inject 2300 of fat into me I'm sooooo very happy about that.

It's been 6 days since my bbl with Dr. Matthew Schulman. I have to say the pain has gone down awhole lot. However I'm still very swollen and still somewhat stiff. I am limited to certain things such as sitting with a pillow underneath my thigh or bending down or lift up my legs to certain extend. I will be laying on my stomach for many weeks and it seems to be catching up with me already. I find myself restless these past 3 days with headaches. I contacted the office today to ask if over the counter sleeping pills will be ok to catch up on some rest and was told it should be ok. More updates soon. So far I like the results! Thank You Dr. Matthew Schulman you are truly gifted!

You look great. My sx date is 8/23. Just wondering did you tell him you wanted to go big or not. I'm starting to get worried because most of his BBL's post op pics seem like the shape he gives are not to curvy. What do you think?

Hey, I jut had a bbl and smooth tuck with him yesterday .. I told him that I wanted that curvy hour glass shape and the upside down heart shaped butt.. I specifically told him I wanted to be full but not huge like cartoonie looking... I think he shaped me really well... Idk if u follow his snap chat but I was the first patient yesterday with the tattoos :).. I hope that helps

I sure will!! I'm very sore but the pain meds are managing my pain well.. The only thing that sucks is getting up to go to the bathroom my husband has to practically carry me there.. But so far I'm happy with the size and shape he gave me.. I've had other procedures in the past with other Drs but dr Schulman by far is the best I've been to I know I made the right choice with him... Just be specific with him on what u want, bringing wish pix helps.. He's very honest he will tell u if what your trying to achieve is realistic or not that's why I love him he doesn't sugar coat it or try to sell a dream bcuz he's getting paid.. I really appreciated that

I will update soon on how I am to date with the results. Keep in mind you will lose some fat as the swollen goes down. I asked him to do as much as possible with that thought in me head and I'm extremely happy so far.
I'm glad you were able to figure out that your testosterone levels were off and that you are able to get it more under control. Â Please keep us posted on your weight loss, your prep, etc! Â
