I could not help but be more satisfied with Dr. Darrick Antell (and his work). My “nose job experience” with not only him but also the rest of his staff was extremely pleasant (always willing to offer refreshments/looking to make sure that all patients are happy and/or comfortable). Prior to picking Dr. Antell to perform the surgery I so desperately dreamed about, I did extensive research and went to over 5 consultations with other New York City well-qualified and known doctors. To begin, not only did Dr. Antell’s patient, easy-going, understanding, and competent attitude persuade me to choose him, but also his ability to quickly determine the flaws of my nose and listen to what I personally didn't like about it made me feel heard. He was not arrogant in the slightest like the majority of Upper East Side doctors, but rather appreciative and humble. He is reserved and genuine and truly wants to help his patients! Also, not only did I like that Dr. Antell’s office is located directly across the street from Lennox Hill Hospital, but he also has a Lenox Hill certified operating room in his office where he performs his surgery. I believe that it made the "day of surgery" extremely relaxing. I did not have to deal with the chaos and fear of a busy hospital. The day of surgery could not have gone smoother. Dr. Antell and his staff were extremely reassuring and made sure to go over the procedure (what was going to be done) beforehand. They could not help but to be overly accommodating which was fantastic. Before I knew it my surgery was complete and I was sent home to recover….about 4 months later I could not be more thrilled with my new nose! It is exactly everything that I wanted and everything Dr. Antell expressed it was going to be beforehand. It is nothing but natural, beautiful, feminine, and just the best! I truly praise Dr. Antell everday. He completely changed my life! I know that sounds cliché but it is honestly the truth. I cannot express how confident and amazing I feel each and every day. I never thought I would say this but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my nose and I cant wait to see it “de-swell” as time goes on.
