I had my breast augmentation done by Dr. Douglas Taranow on Friday October 26th and in a nutshell I am smiling ear to ear about my results, experience, and the personal attention I received from him and his assistant, Sarah.
He is warm, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. From the moment I walked into his beautiful office for my first consultation, his assistant, Sarah greeted me like I was their only patient that day! After meeting Dr. Taranow, I immediately knew that he would be performing my surgery. I explained I wanted to maintain a “natural” fuller look and had several questions prepared for him. We sat down and discussed everything - - the variation of sizes, saline vs. silicone, discomfort after surgery, etc. everything was discussed so that I could have a better understanding of what I wanted and what I could expect post-surgery. He addressed each of my concerns, answered ALL of my questions and questions I did not even think about asking and at no time during our lengthy consultation did I ever feel rushed. I was comfortable with him from our initial consultation to the operating room and I felt like I was in the hands of an experienced, warm and caring professional surgeon.
I could reach him and/or his assistant at any time with questions and they were very accommodating and made me feel really excited and comfortable about having my procedure done. Most important of all - the results are great and I couldn't be happier.
At my pre-op appointment, Dr. Taranow informed me of everything I would need to know for the day of surgery. He along with Sarah made sure I had someone to take me to and from the surgery center, and someone to take care of me for the first couple of days. I was given my prescriptions for the pain meds so I had plenty of time to get them before surgery.
Dr. Taranow and Sarah both checked up on me after my procedure via phone to confirm that I was doing ok and to answer any questions and/or address concerns that I might have had - - I had none due to the fact that I was feeling so well after my procedure. I have absolutely no regrets, beyond thrilled about my results. I really could go on and on, but trust me Dr. Taranow is an amazingly talented and professional surgeon.
